My customer did in fact purchase this dishwasher(9/10/15) from me and we delivered it to their garage, for them to install at a later dateShe said that her son installed the dishwasher shortly after we dropped it offI did not hear back from Mrs*** until sometime in FebruaryWe scheduled a
service visit at no charge with * * * *** *** *** * *** *** ** *** *** * * does the factory service for *** for us and many more Appliance storesThey have been trained and certified on the *** BrandMrs*** notified me after several trips to her home that in her opinion *** has not repaired her dishwasherI am the owner of J's Broadway Appliance and felt that I should go out and see what my customer was complaining aboutI did so and found that the person who installed the dishwasher did a unsatisfactory jobThe dishwasher was leaning forward and the clips that were shipped in the installation instructions were not attached to the dishwasherI do not know why * * * did not observe what I foundI asked Mrs*** for the the installation package and I leveled the dishwasher and installed the brackets to her counter and ran a short cycle with no leaksI did not charge her for my services and told her the dishwasher was not installed properly and * * * should have found the same and suggest that she should have had the dishwasher installed by someone who is familiarI did not hear again from Mrs*** until I received this complaintIf Mrs*** has any complaints I feel *** should be able to take care of them and they have the ability to discuss with *** and get her a new dishwasher if *** feels it is not repairableThe *** warranty is specific when it states FIRST YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY (PARTS AND LABOR) For one year from the date of purchase, when this major appliance is installed, operated and maintained according to instructions attached to or furnished with the product, *** brand of *** Corporation or *** *** ** (hereafter “***”) will pay for factory specified replacement parts and repair labor to correct defects in materials or workmanship that existed when this major appliance was purchased, or at its sole discretion replace the productIn the event of product replacement, your appliance will be warranted for the remaining term of the original unit's warranty periodIn conclusion, I did reach out to *** to ask them why they can not repair the dishwasherThey said there is nothing wrong and the dishwasher works fineI did not speak with Mrs*** and I did not write her off and tell her to deal with *** directlyIf she spoke with me I would have suggested that I call *** and schedule a different servicer to look over the problem and see if they come up with a different conclusion
