J's Custom Concrete came out on July 11, as stated in their last responseThey put an overlay down on the portion of the driveway that had pooling/ drainage issues and spaulingThe overlay looks terrible because they did cover the entire surfaceThey only covered a portion and the concrete is a different color so it looks like a patch jobThe overlay began to crack less than hours after it was put downAlso no drainage issues were resolvedI sent them photos of the overlay and the cracking the next day July 12, I have received no response

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 11, 2015/09/17) */
Our Crew doing the fence have years of experience, not incompetentA small mistake, they put nails instead of screws, nails were replaced with screwsThe fence project did take twice as long due to customer adding more fence on two
separate occasionsWe did everything the customer wantedRegarding the steps, at first the customer really liked them then they didn'tWe broke them out and replaced steps at our expenseCustomer changed the wall twice, it left a inch gap which we filled nicely, customer happyRegarding the pickets, pickets were the best qualityPickets do expand and contract with moisture/heatRegarding the sealing the concrete, we told the customer some areas might absorb more seal than otherIf that occurred we would do another coat after dried, which we didRegarding the bubbles, we also told the customer, bubbles happen from direct sunlight and they would dry and blow away, which they didRegarding the siding, which was in the old concrete patio that we did not install, nothing we could doCustomer states they needed to hire a siding company to replace ftof siding, we gave them 250.00$ to fixThe siding would have broke no matter who broke out the concrete as it was attached to the existing concrete, again which we did not installNothing cost at our expenseYes, gate was not finished, we returned and finished perfect, customer happyWe never cut corners! Customer paid in fullAnother satisfied customer

When Mr*** says "absolutely no attempt to rectify" we must clarify -
We have visited the property for an initial assessment and noted that a relatively small percentage of the subject driveway has experienced 'spalling' (we suspect due
to city deicing salt)*
*(spalling defined: This type of surface failure, known as spalling, is more common in colder climates where freeze-thaw cycles and deicing chemicals are prevalent.)
We have had on-going good faith communication with the customer on multiple times, though we do concede that during our early-in-year vacation we were not immediately responsive
We have already previously (email on 6/4) indicating that we are visiting the property on Saturday 6/to confirm the second issue (and possibly rectify on the spot if viable) - incomplete drainage in one area
We have previously confirmed to customer (email on 6/24) that we have preliminarily retained expert structural consulting to also visit the property in order to assess the cause of the spalling
We categorically dispute customer's assessment (he derived from other competitor companies) that the issues noted are due to "poor workmanship")
We believe that the drainage issue will be rectified in short orderWe also believe that we will soon determine the likely cause of the spalling and then work with the customer to achieve a proper resolution
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2015/07/08) */
