I am writing in regards to a complaint concerning my place of business.My name is [redacted] and I am the owner of J's Tire & Automotive, W9th stOwensboro, KYI recently had the owner of a (?) BMW referred to my shop by employees at the [redacted] Lane on Bosley RdThe customer came to my shop to see where her car was leaking large amounts of motor oil from after she was turned away at the the [redacted] while trying to get her oil changedThe gentlemen at the [redacted] called to let me know that she was on her way and proceeded to inform me the the entire under carriage of her vehicle was COMPLETELY covered in motor oilTo the point where they were unable to even see where it was all coming fromWhen she arrived at my shop I lifted it up and saw for myself how bad it truly wasI then cleaned as much of the oil off of the vehicle as I possibly couldI then started the vehicles engine to allow the motor to run so that I could try to pin point the leak(s)Once the vehicle had been running for a short time it started to leak from various places, one of the the more obvious and worst leaks being the oil filter housing, not the oil pan gasket as she states in her complaintI then contacted the owner of the vehicle to relay my findingsShe informed me that she didn't have a lot of money and couldn't afford to fix all of the leaks right away and that she wanted to fix whatever the worst leak wasShe also requested new front brake pads and to have her rotors resurfacedWith the vehicle being an import I had to order the parts needed overnightOnce I received the parts the next day I installed them, resurfaced the rotors and then called to let her know that it was readyThe customer came the following morning to pick up her vehicleShe called back about two days later complaining of wheel shakingI ask her to return with the vehicle to my shop so that I could see what was causing the shaking,she did soIt ended up being the right front rotor, which I resurfaced againShe never mentioned anything about the oil continuing to leak as badlyThrough general conversation she told me that she had the vehicle at multiple other shops prior to mine for the oil leaks, but that none them made the leaking any betterShe left my shop happy and that is the last time I had heard from herThe customer is stating that she sent texts and called, but I never received anything from her, according to my secretaryShe also never brought the vehicle back so I assumed that she was happy with the work and that was the endI offer a full warranty on repairs to customer vehicles through the end of the parts warrantyHad she come back I would have gladly looked at her vehicle againI can submit notorized letters from the employees at the [redacted] pertaining to their involvement in all of this, if neededThank you for your time and consideration in this matterPlease feel free to contact me at any time Sincerely, [redacted] Owner: J's Tire & Automotive ###-###-####
