I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that the response does not own up to price gouging For your reference, I attach detailed documentsI am not expecting a refund since I already paid the billsBut I hope that other customers will be Regards, [redacted] ***

On January 2, we received an after-hours request for service from Ms***'s house sitter stating that they had no heatOur technician advised that since it was after regular business hours it would be an overtime call and the service charge would be $plus any necessary repairsWe received an ok and when our technician arrived at the house he found the furnace to be in need of a gas valve, he advised the house sitter of the installed gas valve price of $and received permission to make the repair and install the gas valveWe inventory these parts for just such an occasion and we were able to get the heat working again on a very cold nightHe was given a check for the complete amountOn February 27, we received another after hours request for service from Ms***'s house sitter stating that they had no heatOur technician advised that since it was after regular business hours it would be an overtime call and the service charge would be $plus any necessary repairsWe received an ok and when our technician arrived found the recently installed gas valve was not operatingHe was made aware by the house sitter that the gas valve was recently replaced and he advised the house sitter that it would be the warranty gas valve replacement price and was once again given the ok to make the repairMs [redacted] was charged the after-hours service charge of $plus the warranty gas valve price of $On March 25, we received a call from " [redacted] " inquiring about the recent service charges and what was doneI reviewed the charges with [redacted] and advised him that we use a nationally recognized flat rate pricing program [redacted] works for Ms***'s "regular" heating company and when asked why he wasn't called for the original service calls he had no answer [redacted] then called me a "rip off artist" and threatened to call the "better business association"I told him that I'm sorry he feels that way and he said he'll take care of the furnace in the future and tell her not to call Adema HeatingWe perform thousands of service calls per year and have a multitude of satisfied customersI have enclosed a copy of the service invoices for your reviewSincerely, Lou L

Thank you for your letter. Unfortunately there was a miscommunication in our office which caused a delayed response to Ms. [redacted]'s concerns. We have discussed the issue with Ms. [redacted] and apologized for our tardy communication. We also discussed the service issue and offered to credit half of...

the cost of the service bill in appreciation of her frustrations. Ms. [redacted] was satisfied with this agreement and we are both pleased with the resolution of the issues addressed in his letter. received an ok and when our technician arrived at the house he found the furnace to be in need of a gas valve, he advised the house sitter of the installed gas valve price of $509.00 and received permission to make the repair and install the gas valve. We inventory these parts for just such an occasion and we were able to get the heat working again on a very cold night. He was given a check for the complete amount. On February 27, 2015 we received another after hours request for service from Ms. [redacted]'s house sitter stating that they had no heat. Our technician advised that since it was after regular business hours it would be an overtime call and the service charge would be $135.00 plus any necessary repairs. He was made aware by the house sitter that the gas valve was recently replaced and he advised the house sitter that it would be the warranty gas valve replacement price and was once again given the ok to make the repair. On March 25, 2015 we received a call from "[redacted]" inquiring about the recent service charges and what was done.
