I am rejecting this response because:That's a ridiculous explanation.  I emailed them pictures of the case that had fallen apart.  It was so clear that it could not be repaired - why pay $13.60 for shipping?  I did not hear from them so I threw it out - they obviously did not care.  I still have the photos though.

lifetime warranty but this does not cover normal wear. We have never heard from him regarding this. If he would like to send his case to us we would be happy to repair this. This includes changing the binding or repainting the edges when necessary, cleaning the case, replacing broken hardware, restitching where necessary, etc.  Each case is unique, so refurbishing will differ accordingly.  We do not do any re-dying (coloring) of the leather in the refurbishing process.  Scratches and stains can not be removed.  In some cases, leather panels or flaps can be changed but it will depend on the item - upon receipt of the case, we will contact you and notify you of this option and the cost involved.  Please note that leather changes color with exposure to light and the elements, new leather may not match your older bag perfectly.  We will also notify you if this would be the case.  Once the refurbishing department receives your item, they will contact you with an estimate before any work is done.  To have your bag refurbished, please follow the instructions below. Requirements: 1. Please be sure that your item is sent to us empty.  We will not be responsible for anything that is left inside and may be lost during the repair. 2. If your item has a shoulder strap, the shoulder strap must be packed inside the bag.  If your item is a tote, the handles must be tucked inside of the bag.  If a bag is shipped with a shoulder strap or handles outside of the case, the face of the bag will be damaged in transit – we will not be responsible for any such damage. 3.
