Mr*** complaint we would like to relate to you our view of the matter Early in October Mr*** called Grimes Grass about having new sod installed at his homeGrimes Grass does not install grass and we, therefore, referred Mr*** to *** *** ***(713-319-8635)Everyone that calls us about installation is told the same thingWe do not install and the customer may call *** *** if they wish*** *** *** is not connected to Grimes GrassWe simply found them to be a reputable landscape company and we have been referring our customers to them for more than thirty years Mr*** contacted *** *** and they agreed that *** *** would, among other things, remove old grass and new install grass at Mr*** home The total value of their contract was $4,The cost of the grass was about $The rest of the cost was for other services that *** *** would provide In situations such as this one, normally our customer would be *** *** ***They typically purchase the grass from Grimes Grass and we bill *** ***However, Mr*** wanted to pay *** *** with a credit card and *** *** is not set up to accept credit card payments*** *** asked Grimes Grass to accept the payment from Mr*** and then credit the payment to their account with usAs a favor to *** *** we agreed to accept Mr*** payment(see attached invoice)This was our only involvement with Mr***We were unaware of his problems with the care of the grass and his dispute with *** *** until he called Grimes Grass last month, more than a year after he received his grass Any issues related to how the grass was or was not cared for subsequently are not the responsibility of Grimes GrassGrass is a perishable product and no warranty is given or implied when purchasedNevertheless, we do offer customers replacement grass for any grass returned to us within a reasonable time, typically a day or twoIt is our understanding from Mr*** that *** *** did, in fact, replace the sod originally installed at Mr*** home*** *** bore the full cost of the replacement sod We do not believe that Mr*** complaint should be with Grimes Grass and we do not intend to supply Mr*** with any more grass Mark *** Grimes Grass Company [email protected]

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  
I received a phone call last week from Grimes Grass and they informed me that they had a change of heart and would like to offer me some Grass at No charge if I would pay for the labor , I accepted that offer and measured the grass that is dying or already dead . I sent the approx. amount to the company .I received a phone call today from Grimes grass .They informed me that they had changed there mind and would not give me any grass , I asked why ? the response was '' you slandered our company and complained to the Revdex.com " I informed the caller that I had filled a complaint with the Revdex.com and included the Facts as they occurred and I had not made any judgments or slandered the company . The conversation was deflected back to the liability falling on [redacted] and I was informed that because I had complained on the internet that grimes was not going to supply grass . ( As a side note the gentlemen who called referenced the fact that I had asked for too much grass , I informed him I was not an expert and measuring grass and did the best I could based on what I could see and this should not be the issue ) The conversation deteriorated and no resolution was evident when we hung up.

No one from Grimes Grass called Mr. [redacted] regarding a "change of heart". We did not offer to replace any grass. Mr. [redacted] has made up this story. He needs to resolve his complaint with the vendor he contracted with, [redacted].
