charged us $85.00 to produce and ship his tuxedo. Being that the tuxedo was not one we owned it was shipped back after being cancelled so the ability to re-rent it was not an option. If [redacted] would have rented a tuxedo that we owned, which was any suit "in house", she would have received her complete $30.00 deposit back because we could have turned around and re-rented that particular tuxedo to someone else. That is what she witnessed happening with another customer. She also would have received her full $30.00 deposit back if her son's tuxedo would have been cancelled before the wholesaler shipped it out to us.Jack O'Reilly Tuxedos is a small "mom & pop" operation. We have been in business since 1952 and this is the first time being reported to the Revdex.com. While it is unfortunate [redacted] was disgruntled over not getting her complete deposit back we as a business still were charged the $85.00 rental from the wholesaler because it was shipped. The ten dollars that was not returned out of the $30.00 deposit went towards the shipping and handling to send the tuxedo back, which was explained to [redacted]. It is the same procedure Jack O'Reilly Tuxedos uses for all canceled special catalog ordered tuxedos which is why we encourage customers to rent one of the thousands of tuxedos we have and own in house.Sincerely,James ** O'[redacted]Owner
