On Tuesday, February 25, 2020, two colleagues and I had dinner at Jack Tar. The meal was enjoyable but the service was disquieting. The server was brusque and seemed irritated that my party was speaking a language other than English during our meal, as she aggressively interrupted small conversation to determine whether we had 'made up our minds? no fewer than three times. Our visiting guest, who is not from the United States, wondered aloud whether he was welcome at the restaurant. I hope this particular server uses this mishap to reflect on cultural sensitivity as an integral part of customer service.

Refund I would like a refund of the gross total of my bill (71.60). Although they were unpleasant, I do not believe in taking tip money from waitstaff.
