I bought a gift card for $which did NOT have an expiration dateI attempted to use the gift card and was told by the employee that they weren't accepting the gift card any longerWhen I contacted the owner, she told me the gift card was no longer valid because they changed "systems"She says that she had over $40,in gift cards out and that if she would have honored them she would have had to close her businessSo it was either rip off her customers of the cash they paid in or close her businessShe said she chose to zero out the $40,in gift cardsI asked her if we could agree to some sort of compensation for my loss and her response was, "if you had a business and invested everything into it for years then you might have a different perspective."
