Jack's Pools & Spas Reviews (4)

Revdex.com: We have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to us We do want to clarify that NONE of this information was ever communicated to us throughout our multiple attempts to get f*on this during the past year Neither letters, nor phone calls were returned We do not agree with some of the details re the potential cause of the leak around the light However, that is really a moot point at this time Please send the $refund check to our home address In one of our letters to Jack's business, we provided a stamped, self-addressed envelope We would expect that in a timely manner, since it has already been over a year since the pool liner installation We will let the Revdex.com know when we receive that check so that this concern can officially be closed at that time Thank you very much for your assistance in resolving this concern Regards, [redacted] & [redacted]

Per BBB phone call with Jack H***:Mr. H [redacted] advised that the consumers contacted his company requesting to have a new liner and light installed. He advised that it is not unusual for people to call and request this service. The consumers however did not explain to the company the reason... why they needed a new liner or light installed. Therefore, after the liner and light were installed, the company returned to the consumer's home several times due to concerns of a leak. It was not until many tests were done (free of charge) that [redacted] told Mr. H [redacted] that he had siliconed the light fixture behind the liner because he believe the leak was originating from the light. Mr. H [redacted] advised that, had the consumers explained this from the onset, they could have addressed the issue without all of the hassles involved in fixing the problem. The cause of the leak was actually the niche, a cracked conduit that needed to be repaired, however to address it would require breaking the concrete and repairing the broken line. He advised that the consumers were not interested in making this repair, and ultimately Mr. H [redacted] took the light they purchased back, and gave them a $300 credit. He says that the consumers have not returned to his business nor utilized this credit. He feels that the consumers are placing blame on him for a leak that he did not create. Nonetheless, he is willing to issue a refund via check to resolve this matter.
