Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I called back for a new appointment, and needless to say, all I got when I called was an answering machineI have given up with these clownsOne of the things which swayed my decision when I chose Jacqueline was that they offered a lifetime warranty on the windowsThe warranty is unfortunately WORTHLESS! Jacqueline chooses not to stand behind the warranty they provided by employing the simple tactic of giving the customer the run aroundDon't believe it? Just look at the date of my original inquiry with them and my subsequent complaint to the Revdex.com (~ months ago)I hired another window company which promptly come out to my home and fixed what was a very minor but annoying issueWhile I was speaking to that company about the repair, I purchased from them a new front door, three basement casement windows, and two sliders for the back of the houseJacqueline moved out of [redacted] for a reasonI have a pretty good guess on why they moved Regards, [redacted]

We have been in touch with Mr [redacted] , we have been playing a little bit of telephone tag to repair the problem he has with the windows and also he wants us to give him a price on additional workThank you Charles O

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:We have not "been playing telephone tag" as MrO contendsyou contendsHere's the history: After weeks of leaving voicemail messages during March and April, I wrote the Revdex.com on April 17th and lodged a complaint against Jacqueline Home RemodelingMiraculously on April 19thCharles O called me on my cell and inquired about the issue with my windowsAfter I explained the problem, he asked me what kind of windows I hadI said [redacted] ***, but that apparently was not good enough for himHe said that they do not have any paperwork on jobs done back three years or longer and that I should find the work order , scan it, and email it to himREALLY???? Well, I located the guarantee that I received from Jacqueline Home Remodeling when they installed the windowsI scanned it and emailed it with a message to [redacted] on April 26thOn April 28thFran O sent me an email which acknowledged that I had [redacted] windows installed in my homeShe also requested my schedule "so that they could have someone stop by and correct the problem." I responded to Fran's email on April 30thand gave her my schedule: "....usually home after 7:pm in the eveningI plan on working from home next Friday (May 5th.) and I will be home all dayNext Saturday and Sunday I will be home after 12:each day." Today is 1-1/weeks after I sent that email and I have yet to receive a response or a call to schedule the repairSo saying that we are "playing telephone tag" is a gross misstatement to say the leastThe strategy that Jacqueline Home Remodeling is employing is obvious: ignore, ignore, ignore, stall, stall, stall, and hope that the customer goes awaySo to recap: (1)The company ignored my voicemail messages and contacted me only after I lodged a complaint to the Revdex.com; (2) The company stalled by requiring me to email them a copy of the paperwork on the window installation "because they do not have records that go back that far"; (3) They contact me via email only after I provide a copy of the guarantee that I received when the windows were installed and ask for my schedule so that they "can have someone stop by to correct the problem; (4) I provide my schedule; (5) it's now 1-1/weeks later I have no received any type of communication from the company to set up an appointment to fix the defectsIt is now over two months since I made the first phone call to Jacqueline Home Remodeling, and I am still getting the run aroundIgnore and stall and maybe he will go awayThis is obvious Regards, [redacted]
