We had several conversations thru our shop and our attorney with Mr. [redacted] about the parts delay on this vehicle.  Unfortunately we are completely powerless with the manufactures ability to provide us parts.  There was an impact sensor that was on back order and is a safety...

functions of the vehicle which prevented us for continuing reassembling the vehicle.  We had completed everything up to the point of needing the impact sensor.  The impact sensor was on the initial parts order and the sensor was on backorder 7 weeks.   As far as the miscommunications with Mr. [redacted] being told all his parts had arrived by [redacted] that information came directly from the parts manager at Land Rover. Our estimator was giving information he had been told by Land Rover Parts.  Once we found out this information with incorrect we immediately contacted the customer to correct the miscommunications we received from Land Rover.  Once we finally received the impact sensor we finished the vehicle in a very timely manner.  The “few weeks” time frame that the customer was initially told by [redacted] is an accurate time frame if we receive all the parts and nothing on backorder.  Unfortunately that was not the case and we have absolutely no control over parts.   If you need any documentation or further explanation please contact me.   Thank You [redacted] | Operations Manager
