When I receive this Complaint letter (ID#[redacted]), I felt stun and helpless, I provide computer service at this area since 1998, I have many many customers they like my service because they know...

very well I am not only an honest guide but also provide good service and better price. The customer [redacted] "provide" her angry in this complaint letter but this angry totally not match her "age" and " the truth" because of the following 1. Wen She([redacted]) bring this gateway laptop for service at 11/*/2015, she had asked "when will it ready", We had told her very clear ---We don't provide the exactly time but we will do our best. By the way, this information always show on our receipt at ( "agreement-- number #2 ). And then, the next day, she called me ask the laptop ready or not, I answer "not", in the meantime I suggest her---"if you rush so much, you can come to my store and pickup your laptop then bring to another repair store see they can fix early or not? I will refund your deposit---$35 dollar), she said "no" also said "call me(her) when you(I) have result." And then, at 11-**-15, I had called her said" good news, I had found the problem(the laptop infected by virus, so it run slow). the solution is "restore this laptop to it's factory's setting,every thing will be erase and back to the first day you get this laptop.(I had did this kind of jobs, same jobs, many many times.I always explain very clear either on the phone or face to face directly to my customers., like you need to reinstall printer drivers, may be you like to play some games and you to reinstall your game(s), if you do accounting you need to reinstall quicken or different accounting software because when you get your laptop at the first day those software don't come with it, if some laptop pre-install some software and you should have the license key for that software, because by the law, the license key is for you to reinstall that software. She know all that, but she still want to said "I delete the "word", This beha vior let me confuse and angry! For example,if you get this software legally, you should have this license key, you can reinstall it as many time as you want. by the way,also I get her permit to fix her laptop. I had called her and explain the situation clear before I fix it. For the "word pad ", it always come with the Microsoft OS(operation system), that is part of the factory setting. so this is an example, another "no truth" again. 2. if you order a sandwich and you wait more than 10 minutes we said that "don't provide good service", but if you want to fix a computer and enjoy the same time and same price, I am sorry to tell you I can not do that kind of job in my life, the important thing is that I had explain the "turn around time" before we accept she drop her laptop to my store for repair. in this web,this page, for every body could see, I am very proud to said I had fixed fer laptop within 4 days, and she was happy when she was pickup and paid me $117.43 with no argument and also she said the laptop became fast again, thank you 3. she allow me to fix her laptop at 11-**-15, we had called her at 11-**-15 to tell her this gateway had been fixed and run much better than it came in the repair shop,it is ready for you pickup. she came at 11-**-15 to pickup, we had turn on and demo the performance to her just like other customer picking up. I must mention this very series, with her personality, if she didn't like my repair job, she will not paid $117.43 to me and said thank you this laptop became faster, isn't it? when she pickup this laptop she ask "word" again. I had told her" this laptop will became the factory setting like first day you open the box, just like we had discuss in the phone. if you want "word", you need to find you reinstall kit (Microsoft give every purchaser)and she said she will try. 4. for the computer name, except the computer owner want me setup his(her) special name when he(she) turn the computer on, otherwise we always setup the computer called "EZPC" and no password came with. this is not even a topic, because you can change your laptop name, your password. your wallpaper in no time, isn't it? this why I said "I am stun and helpless" in the front page. when you get a customer like this, maybe you only can said you got bad luck! 5. when she pick up her laptop, I had demo her the internet, I remember I show the performance of "you-tube", because you mention she can not access many web-sit before she drop-in for fix---like you-tube, etc.... the you-tube video perform smoothly after fixed, she knew 100%, because this video get 4 eyes watch on it at that moment, I provide two eyes and she provide two eyes. the default home page we like to set to "google", she had mention in this complain letter said the home page had change to "foreign Language"? this possibly the following: a. her laptop get virus again, otherwise the laptop will not change itself b. the user have the whole responsibility to his --if you didn't used computer , you will not get virus, had you seen, anybody sue "Microsoft" this company, because Microsoft product =x(no equal get virus), because a lot of people don't get virus, if you didn't access the internet. you almost not get virus, so we can not complain Microsoft or gateway, isn't it? c. if you didn't get virus, and for some reason your home page had been change, you can change to whatever you like in no time, like google, yahoo, CNN, etc................, 6. She had called me 4 or 5 days after she had pickup her laptop and said laptop run slow and I had delete her Microsoft Word, and my turn around time is slow etc....., I had respond to her"we always stand behind our customer and provide our best service reasonably , if you felt something wrong, bring the laptop to the store let us check, if we didn't do the job right! we will correct it, but if this is not our fault we also not to spend our source to cover you, I also have a family to support. she said she will come, but she never show off until few days ago, she called me and said she want refund, the next day, I had receive the reject payment from my credit card company for this lady called "[redacted]" for amount $117.43 reject. 7. if you want to find-fault-with, you can have many reasons, but those reasons she "provide" are not the truth at all. I had discuss with her on the phone before I fixed include the price, I had suggested her try another repair shop if she don't like my turn around time, but she said "no" , Because I realize very much she know she can get better price from me for that kind of job and faster than those company like "best buy" so she said "no",and want me to keep this laptop for fix. if she really rush you can find another store why she choice me under she already understand what is the situation for turn around time . She is happy when she pickup after we had demo the performance and she paid me with no argument. She had called me 4 to 5 days later after she pickup and said "the laptop had problem again", I told her to bring-in for checking , she said OK but never did. you can said in this case, I get bad luck? or you can said --- maybe she change mind want to buy another new laptop? or maybe her friend will gave her a better one? but I didn't have the answer, not only now also in the future. I only know I had done my job(fix her laptop) properly, and get my proper paid, never over charge to my customers. if she change mind and didn't want to repair ----I need to tell her, "you want me to repair your laptop and the job was done,and you knew it because we had demo you when you pickup." Only kids need people take care after, if you have sometime created by yourself please clean by yourself.
