Regards,
*** ***

On Thursday 08/20/*** *** had her scooter delivered to Jack's Motorcycles for repairWe were told the scooter had not ran in a whileThe repair needed was the scooter would not start and the back brake need adjustedAfter the diagnosis, our service department discovered the scooter
had bad gas in it, so we drained and flushed the tank then added fresh octane gasWe charged the battery (the battery is too small for this scooter 4amp this scooter should have a larger 7amp battery) We informed *** *** of the situation and she replied she would replace the battery at another time that she needed to keep the cost of this repair as low as possibleWe put a new spark plug in the scooter and attempted to start it but the compression was too low and the carburetor had been damaged from the bad fuelWe adjusted the valves to bring up the compression so that the cylinder could breathe properlyWe informed *** *** she needed a new carburetor and again she said she needs to keep the cost of this repair as low as possibleWe started the Scooter and adjusted the rear brake.we Did The Best That could Be Done with The Damaged Carburetor and informed *** *** the carburetor may straighten out after riding it a while or it may not*** *** brought a young, inexperenced scooter rider to ride the scooter home, our mechanic had to teach the rider how to start the scooterWe explained to the rider how to keep the scooter running so the border line carburetor may have a chance of working, he said okay and *** *** paid her bill $and the rider rode off on the scooter.A little while later (20??"minutes) *** *** calls us and said the scooter stoped running and won't start I asked her to have the rider call me and he didAfter talking to the rider I suspected the scooter was flooded so I ask him to let the scooter sit for about minutes and then try to start it againHe called back and said it won't start I could hear the small battery getting weak as the rider attempted to start it while I wason the Phone with himI thought to myself maybe we didn't let it sit long enough so I explained to the rider what I thought and asked him to let the scooter sit for minutes and call me backhe sad okay. The next call I got (about minutes later) was from a gentleman that refered to *** *** as his wifeI told him that I have been talking to the young man riding the scooter and suspected he has it floodedHe asked if we could go pick up the scooter and take it back to our shop and fix itI said we can,t go pick up or deliver scooters because we don't have a company truckI also told him we can fix the scooter but is going to have to have a new carburetorHe said he would get back with me.The next communication with *** *** was this letter from your good office.Jack's Motorcycles feels *** *** is entittled to nothing and prefer she take her future business elsewhere.Sincerly,*** ***General ManagerJack's Motorcycles Inc.?
