Reached John (Junior) of Jackson Auto East by phone, to discuss Ms [redacted] 's caseJohn indicates that he spoke to Ms [redacted] late last week / early this week about the "no start" issues she was having with the DenaliSays he speculated that it could be something as simple as the battery or starter, but that it was impossible to say definitively without proper diagnosis of the issueKnowing that Ms [redacted] lives several hours away and would not likely be able to bring the Denali back to Jackson itself, says he offered to Ms [redacted] and / or her boyfriend that they could take the Denali into their nearest Chevy dealership / repair facility to have the diagnosis done, and Jackson Auto would pay for the diagnosisAside from Ms [redacted] filing this newest addendum to her original Revdex.com complaint, John says he has not heard from Ms [redacted] or her boyfriend since extending this offerHe says Ms [redacted] can still take Jackson Auto up on this offer, but needs to have the diagnosis done as indicated, and contact him at Jackson Auto to advise of the cost of the diagnostic and results

I am rejecting this response because:When we had spoken with JR he said we would need to take it to a dealership and get it fixed and maybe he could get us a discountI was never told they would pay to fix itI wasn't interested in this Denali in the first place and didn't want it,I was lied to about the Chevy being sold That's I was interested in, But I was interested in the Acadia they had, but I was told that wasn't my option, my only option was this DenalAlso they ran my credit to different banks without my authorityThis is not okI'm getting it fixed on my own, I'm irrated I was lied to and forced to buy a car I wasn't interested in

Received phone call from Gary *** at Jackson Auto Sales, indicating that a resolution was in the works with Ms *** even as it received Revdex.com's letter -- had delivered a vehicle to her for use, and she ultimately picked out a different vehicle today (8/5)

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 9, 2015/07/09) */
Regarding the above complaint please find the following.
Ms [redacted] purchased the vehicle from Jackson Auto Sales on 11/04/2013. It had 709 miles at purchase. She was given a 60/3000 limited warranty from us as required by law. She also was...

given the balance of the General Motors factory warranty, which is a warranty through General Motors.
Ms. [redacted] took the vehicle in for a computer module replacement on 12/26/2013. That repair was paid for by General Motors.
Ms. [redacted] brought her vehicle in the same General Motors Dealer for the AC compressor repair. The Dealer declined to call the claim into General Motors for authorization. The Dealer stated to the customer that this vehicle had been in a accident so they declined to call the repair into General Motors. This vehicle does not have a salvage title and Car Fax shows no accidents on the vehicle.
Jackson Auto Sales does not have any obligation regarding this repair
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 11, 2015/07/10) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
This is unacceptable
My husband came with me to look at this car. He saw scratches in the paint, a poor buff job, and a large scratch in the dash board.
Because of these imperfections my husband asked the dealer at Jackson Auto to see a copy of the car fax.
The dealer at Jackson copied a copy of the car fax, gave it to mu husband for review which showed No Accidents Guaranteed. Because of the Car Fax Report my husband decided we should buy it.
We accepted that there were imperfections in the paint. We would not have purchased this car if we knew it was in an accident.
My husband drove this car last week to do some shopping. He put 3 40 pound bags of cat litter and 2 bags of 40 pound softner salt and 2 bags of groceries in the trunk. Every small dip in the parking lot and on the road the rear coil springs made noises like they are broken he states.
This car can't be safe like this.
I am generally the sole driver of this car. And am the only one in it so a couple times I did hear a clunk but didn't think anything of it.
Our grandchildren ride in this vehicle ages 1 and 6 years old. Is this car safe for them and the people around us?
Not to mention we have a brand new car with no working a/c.
We must have something done about this immediately.
Enclosed is a copy of the car fax given to us by the dealer at Jackson Auto.
Again we would not have purchased this vehicle if we knew it was in an accident.
Jackson Auto knew this car had problems. We called ahead about the car to see if it was still available to look at. We said we would be there within the hour. The car was running when we got there. It was not cold out. Jackson Auto knew this car didn't start after it sits. Referring back to the first problem we had with the car not starting after it sat a couple days. Their remedy was to replace the battery in a new car. Ridiculous. To us this only shows their dishonesty.
If they won't repair this vehicle they can buy it back for everything we have put out of our pocket. Including the rear license plate light which was missing. We have a receipt for the purchase. It is illegal to sell a vehicle without rear license plate light.
We hope you at the Revdex.com can help us resolve this problem.
Regards,
[redacted]
Final Business Response /* (4000, 15, 2015/07/28) */
We have attempted to contact Ms. [redacted] via telephone, per the phone number she gave to us. We have 2 other General Motors Dealerships that are willing to file a claim with General Motors regarding this repair. She was experiencing a negative response from the Dealership she was using. Please have her call us so we can set up the repair.
Final Consumer Response /* (3000, 17, 2015/08/02) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Ms.[redacted],
Please submit the names of the GM Dealerships willing to file a claim with General Motors for repairs of A/C condenser and noise/clunk in the rear of the 2013 Impala.
You stated these dealerships will repair the 2013 Impala using the warranty.
Forest Lake Chevrolet Cadillac submitted the claim to General Motors and it was denied because it was not a factory flaw.
The failure of the condenser is due to an accident. Evidence of bodywork done on the front end and left rear. The failure of the condenser is due to incorrect repair because the bracket was touching the condenser coil which in time rubbed through the coil surface causing the failure of the A/C system/condenser.
The left rear has been hit which has affected the rear springs. My husband believes the noise in the rear is coil springs are broken or out of place.
As stated in the previous correspondence through Revdex.com I stated items and weight in the trunk when he drove it. He said something is wrong. The weight is within the weight limits. Generally, the car transports myself and two grandchildren.
I have attached a copy of the work order from Forest Lake Chevrolet Cadillac for your review. The rear differential/coil springs are not included on this work order.
I would like to continue correspondence through the Revdex.com. My reason being all parties will then have documentation of the resolution process.
Thank-you,
[redacted]
