I was very disappointed in my first experience with this dental practice and have moved on to another local dentist I had called for an appt for my son for a teeth cleaning prior to getting braces the following week I filled out the new patient information, explained that I wanted to do this cleaning before the braces and if there were any issues, we could take of them prior to appliances added to his teeth Without my consultation, a panoramic film and other bitewing xrays were taken for a total of $plus the $cleaning It was $for this visit that did not include examination by the doctor - the doctor wasn't in - and I would have to bring my son back in for that $visit Most upsetting is that all these xrays were already completed at the orthodontist and on this dentists website, they offer a new patient special for $which was never mentionedThis was for my son, I can't imagine the cost for an adult

I had called for an appt for my son for a teeth cleaning prior to getting braces the following week. I filled out the new patient information, explained that I wanted to do this cleaning before the braces and if there were any issues, we could take of them prior to appliances added to his teeth. Without my consultation, a panoramic film and 8 other bitewing xrays were taken for a total of $229 plus the $133 cleaning. It was $362 for this visit that did not include examination by the doctor - the doctor wasn't in - and I would have to bring my son back in for that $80 visit. Most upsetting is that all these xrays were already completed at the orthodontist and on this dentists website, they offer a new patient special for $99 which was never mentioned. This was for my son, I can't imagine the cost for an adult.
