Inadequate service for warranty repair, manufacturer declined payment, now seeking it from meWavering information, and inability to resolve issue
I *** I called *** for low ice production from my fridge/freezer ice maker, which was under warrantyThey scheduled an appointment to have a repairman with Jackson Home Appliance come to my house to repair the issueThe service tech arrived on Friday, took a large section of my fridge apart, replaced parts, and reassembledThe ice bin was installed crooked so it now catches, demonstrating the lack of care the tech took in my applianceHe also expressed that this was an ongoing issue with these fridges and that he makes this same repair very frequentlyOn Monday I received a call from Jackson's office stating that the tech was no longer working at the company and asking what repairs he made to my fridge, including specific parts, which I knew very little aboutI relayed what information he did tell me while here, th

I absolutely would not recommend this companyWe had Jackson out to repair a washerThe technician spent about minutes and said it was motor and tubIt was still under warranty for parts only, not the laborHe quoted right at for labor for the repairI felt like something was not right because it was working and it was under a year oldMy husband, who is mechanical, looked at it and figured it out on about minutesWe had Jackson come out because my husband didn't feel like looking at it and we were busy with other thingsIt ended up being a capacitorMy husband put it in and it has been running fineI called the owner of the company, who was very niceHe listened to my concerns and assured me he would refund my $back (service fee)Unfortunately we never received our refundI called back twice and left my information and never heard backMy advicepick another company! On *** our furnace stopped workingI called Jackson Home Appliance Heating and Cooling on ***We were told service call is $*** from Jackson called and we explained the problemHe asked if we were current customers, I said yes then he said he could be there by but he had been out all day, the day before and didn't get home until 11:pmWhich honestly, none of that is our businessHe is getting paid to do his jobIf you don't like the hours, talk to your boss, not us! So *** came around amThe first thing he said was "oh great, a ***"We should of known better with that comment! He knew our furnace was years old so he "looked" around and came upstairsupstairs and talked to us for about 20-minutes about how *** was good but is now ***Of course he talked up ***, which is there brandHe talked about replacing his Windows on his propertyTold us wh

We paid to have the furnace serviced on two occasions and then were told the technician did not have proper equipment to solve our problem
On *** the company serviced our furnace for a fee of $*** (Check #***) Subsequently, we frequently smelled gas in the back yard where the furnace discharged Finally, we called *** which provided a Customer Warning Notice (Tag #***) that the furnace was improperly operating and required service The company came a second time on *** and charged $*** (Check #***) The technician indicated that he had made an adjustment that would resolve the issue However, soon after the same problem was happening The company came a third time on *** It did not charge for the third service call Apparently the problem was resolved by the technicians who came on the third call When we asked for an explanation of why we had paid over $*** and not had the matter resolved, the technicians said that the individual wh

No up front statement of minimum service visit pricing
At no time during attempted scheduling of diagnostic visit was a minimum cost brought to my attentionWhile looking at Jackson website and submitting an online request for a service visit no cost was displayed During visit tech surprised me with this cost and then told me that if a customer refused to pay that he would go out to his vehicle and call the police for theft When speaking with person at office, she insisted that it was my responsibility to request cost of visit before tech arrived on site

Owner Bill [redacted] was personable and attentive to my needs and wants. He provided me with a proposal that was not only fair and provided all my needs, but also put my mind a ease as to what I was going to have installed. The men he had install my unit were friendly, respectful and worked diligently while here. The work was done quickly, clean up left the place as though no work had been done. Very satisfied with the work, workmanship and quoted price of the instillation of my air conditioner and furnace. In two words "very professional !"
