Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:There is no dispute that the contractor is now licensed with L&I His attachment is a snapshot of his current license status as of today (Feb 1, 2017) We are aware that he procured a license the same day L&I alerted us (and him) of his suspended status (Jan 24, 2017).Rather, the complaint is that the contractor was not licensed during the entire duration of our contractual agreement (from Nov 29, through Jan 24, 2017) Please review the attached document from L&I which demonstrates the contractor's license suspension beginning on Sep 28, 2016.Additionally, we have hired other contractors since this incident who have confirmed that much of this contractor's work needs to be undone and replaced For example, there is covered electrical work that has not yet been inspected, sewage plumbing that has an incline before reaching the main stack, exterior ventilation that isn't a sufficient distance from the nearest window, and other items that are in direct violation of Seattle city building codes These contractors suggest that fixing this work would take many weeks, not days as the contractor posits Sincerely, [redacted]

I reject the former client response:It is not surprising for a contractor to talk negatively about another contractors work. The bottom line is Jackson Properties & Investments, LLC. license is in tact. The work was in process and not completed, there could have been opportunity to do more. Unfortunately that opportunity was not provided to the contractor.There is a signed contract and promissory note. There is now a lien on the property. The balance of $21, 543.00 is due immediately once paid in full the lien will be removed. Thank you.
