We were forced to pay utilities even after our lease contract had endedIt clearly stated in the lease that there is no smoking permitted anywhere on the property; however, cigarette smoke continually seeped into our apartment (after complaining several times they still didn't do anything to solve the problem) and I witnessed firsthand the apartment manager smokingThey charged way too much for cleaning the apartment after we had moved out, they claimed it was beyond "wear and tear" after years (even though our lease was for a year and a half), $750! They also over charged us on "broken" blinds, which none were broken, $My car, along with about others, was broken in to while it was in the garageEven though they weren't responsible for this, they didn't install any cameras afterwards inside the garage to make it saferLooks can be deceiving; before you start to rent here make sure you ask lots of questions and get everything that they say in writingWe have lived in other apartment complexes and this was the only one that we didn't get our security deposit back fromNeedless to say, myself and my husband are very disappointed with the outcomeWe very much felt all that they cared about was getting their rent money

They only care about moneyI lived in a new building for one year, and I had a caged animalTHEY DONT REGULATE CAGED ANIMALSPrior to moving out they did an "inspection" and decided to take pictures of my unregulated animal without consentI am being charged for full carpet replacement when not even ft of space was damaged in the ENTIRE place, and the one who handles deposits even AGREED thatOh, they also replaced my carpet with more expensive stuff and basically charging people to help cover that expense
Not to mention, they rushed the apartments so quick that I actually almost had a fire because the wires to my oven weren't done efficiently and caused all three wires to melt and burn together, and tripped the breakerThank god they had that, otherwise I would have had a fire in my apartment due to THEIR mistake
If you live here, don't take an animal hereYou will get so screwed over

When I moved in just under years ago, I was rebuilding my lifeI had to pay a double cash deposit due to my credit, as well as a pet fee for my dogI did so gratefullyTwo years in, the apartment manager shared my personal information with a person I worked withI am still bewildered how this was ok or even legalI then had to put my dog downIt took me a long time to get the courage to own a pet again and when I did, I went to management with the money only to be told I have to pay another deposit $pet depositI had already paid oneBut the deposits are per pet so I had to pay another even though I only had one petThis did not apply to other tenantsI gave the manager an example "so I do the right thing and I get penalized?" She replied yesMy puppy tore the carpet and scratched the walls a bitNothing all of minutes wont fixThey will replace the carpet as that is what they do, except I will be fined $for not having the carpet cleaned as well as $for new carpet that was $when I moved inI gave my notice and have to move by July There truly are so many horrible stories about TeronomyI will move knowing no matter how much cleaning I do, I have lost two pet deposits, a double cash deposit and also receive an additional high dollar invoice in the mail long afterThis is what they do

Being a property manager myself, I have read over their lease in detailTheir lease has a few illegal clauses, such as charging a fee for a petAll fees and deposits are REQUIRED BY THE STATE to be returned to the tenant at the end of their leaseFEES ARE NOT LEGALThey are also not allowed to charge you another pet deposit if you never received your initial deposit back when getting a new pet (S Rthis is in regards to your post)They do not enforce anything, except the rules/policies that get them more moneyDue to their lack of enforcing rules and regulations, over $worth of damage was done to my car, and they refused to do ANYTHINGThe homes are beautiful, but the landlord is HORRIBLE and engages in multiple illegal activities and clauses in their leases

ThiefsI wouldn't recommend these people to anyone

Not sure how they still have a star rating with only negative reviewsBut we had a very similar experience as the other reviewers on hereJust insanely money-hungryWe moved out a year ago and just finished paying off the $3,move out charges we were billed (and that's AFTER they took the security deposit)We tried to appeal the charges but after a couple months of fighting we just got sick of it and agreed to payIf possible, avoid apartments under this company's umbrellaThey'll rake you over the coals once you leave
