First, this individual and her husband (her guest) each had a membership with us prior to switching to a membership which allowed the individual to bring in a guest to the gym for free. Therefore, that is not the "main reason" they chose our facility. The ability to bring a friend to the
gym to workout on the equipment was a FREE privilege GIVEN to the member, not something the member was paying for. The contract does not state what the guest has access to. Free guest privileges to attend group classes was eliminated when our group classes became full and our paying members did not have a space to join in the group class. All instructors were made aware of this change and signs were posted in the group classroom. As far as canceling the individuals contract without her knowing: When this situation occurred, the member was verbally upset and told management "We don't want to be here anymore" and mentioned canceling her membership. We honored her wishes and cancelled her membership upon her upset departure from our facility. We strive to make all customers and members happy. Past problems and this most recent situation made us aware that unfortunately we aren't able to make this individual happy with our services

No they did not come out to my homeNo one showed up or called, they were scheduled but it was a no showThere is a pending charge on my checking/credit card on my account showing up with Slidell Appliance Repair name on it. Thank you, *** ***

Prosand was contacted by the [redacted] to refinish their hardwood floors.I inspected their floors and left a floor quote.Mr [redacted] called and hired our company to refinish their floors. The home owners should me a small board with a factory stain.I...

explained to the owner that hand finished floors and factory floors look different in style.John our project manager sanded floor and showed owner many colors finally settling on a color.John later applied the stain owner choose then sealed floor with 1 coat. The next day as we arrived to finish with last coat owners told us to stop project, latter that day I meet with owner and they didn't like color and wondered how much it would be to redo floor completely and change to another floor color.I Explained it would be $6160.00.They then asked for a discount indicating they had little funds to complete redo, feeling sorry for costumer that I would reduce second sanding by $1500.00 or half price if they paid me for remaining balance of the first project that they wanted to redo thru no fault of prosand, they thanked me for my generosity and professionalism additionally explaining that the were blessed to choose a company that would live up to reputation and aclimades that our company was known for over the last 36 years.Again let me repeat half off thru no fault of our initial work.We rescheduled second refinish date and moved a coutomer that had left a deposit to secure their position4 weeks ago on our very busy calendar.               Prosand arrived with crew and began to redo floor for the second time for half price of the original quote.and moved a customer to accommodate their moving in time.I stopped by at the end of the day to help them make a decision but ultimately decision is home owners. After 2.5 hours they settled on color we thought.Next day we asked them to please sign off on color to protect prosand from liability if they changed their mind again which they did and did not sign off on color.Josh project manager called me and said home owner wanted me to give them a call which I did immediately. Mrs [redacted] behaved rudely over the phone insulting myself and workers. After 5 minutes of abuse she order us to leave her property and not return which is what we did.I will not be subjected to nasty -disrespectful and abusive  language after the   extrodnary generous terms I gave owners, throw no fault of our own.                  I have attempted to mail final invoice for the remainder of the first project  which came to - $ 1540.00 but my attempted contacts have garnered no responce.

I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
The manager is simply telling lies. Yes, we originally chose this gym; however, we then switched to another gym because of the cheaper prices. Once we found out they were offering a new contract, and that we could bring a friend, we switched back. So yes, this is why we chose this gym.I, the member, specifically said, "do not cancel my membership yet." This is when the manager said, "alright, but if you want to bring a friend anymore it will be $5." I am unaware of any "past problems." We are extremely disappointed in the immoral business ethics of this business, and do not want to see anyone else get hurt by their dishonest practices.

Based on ProSand’s response, it doesn’t seem he’s open to resolve the issue.  This issue seems to be a clear: a business that acted beyond their scope of competency. We hired their services but prior to that, we consulted with Carl, and showed him a sample of what we were after.  At that point, Carl could have simply said “no”. Nevertheless, he said “sure no problem” and assured us that, even though, they could not match it perfectly, we were going to be very satisfied with theproduct.  Carl sent a crew of two people who didn’t seem experts in working with dark colors; the color they achievedthe first time around was almost black (see video 1 & 2). Side note about Job#1: This first job was never fully completed because after seeing the color we asked that Carl to come inspect it.  We gave ProSand two opportunities to make it right.  We always knew the color we wanted our floor to be. We NEVER changed our minds about the color. BecauseCarl overtly denied any responsibility the first time around, we were made to take monetary responsibility and agreed to pay extra $1,700.  We were feeling stuck; we had already given him $1,540 and needed to have our kitchen back.  By now, we have been waiting from 5/19 to 6/2.   Carl, was not professional and did not keep his word that he was going to be personally involved—the second time around—from “start to finish and stain colors particularly”.  Furthermore, it is proven on this complaint, he was not and still is not willing to give us our money back.  We just want our money back so that we canput this behind and move one with our lives.Carldid not follow through with our agreement:INITIAL AGREEMENT                                                      OUTCOMEStarting date 5/19                                                            Started 5/21End date 5/22                                      ...                 June 2nd Carl pulls outTotal Cost: $3,080                                     ... prosand flooring installed new treads and risers for customer.prosand installed oak treads and riser material then stained and finished.Home owner indicated hight of tread had change when in fact it had not.Customer insisted we change the hight by raising them to some arbitrary measure that...

was not included in scope of work nor discussed as Prosand dose-not change stare hights without special request and indicated on contract with extra charge for this service. When changing heights were attempted difficulties were encountered as inside stair structure was shoty and poorly constructed.Home owner was shown the poor construction quality of their stair which was done when home was first constructed 20 years ago, this made no difference and customer refused to pay for an preexisting problem .Prosand continued to repair stairs and were not paid for extra work.Customer had touchup on 2 of the risers we came out with crew ready to tuchup their concerns but refused our service man 3 times to complete then deducted touch up cost arbitrarily from our outstanding bill then rudely dismissed us from her premises. One is left with impression what their true motives were in the end.
