Good Morning!Mr*** has contacted the Customer Service Team on several occasions for paper tube placementHis account was noted on 6/14, 6/16, 6/and again on 6/An email was sent to Mr*** on 6/after he sent an email to use on 6/20. I have attached the emailThe Customer
Service team also had the paper verified the next day by a contractor to make sure paper was placed in tubeI will continue having it verified to make sure Mr*** recieves paper placement.Thanks***

to perform a test (because of HIPA rules I will only mention details of the test the customer gave in the complaint)After we drew her blood and she was on her way out she asked how long it would take to get her results***, the supervisor told Ms*** she would look it up because blood tests can take longer for the type of test she needed*** looked up the test and found out it can take up to business days from the time the lab gets the sampleMs*** did inform *** that she was told on the phone that her test results would take 24-hours to be completed*** informed her that the call center representative that took her call misinformed her*** asked if she still wanted to proceed with testingMs*** said to proceed with testinglab got the sample the next day the 26th of JulyThe samples are shipped express mail to the testing labMs***'s results were finished and available on July st but Ms*** refused to pickup her resultsIt took the lab business days to send the resultsThat was still within the business day time frame.As far as the blood draw, Ms*** was stuck twice, which is within blood drawing procedural limitsAt no time did the needle come out of her arm but her blood did stop flowing into the tube, which is also normal.In conclusion, Ms*** knew before she left our lab that we could not guarantee her results would be in within hoursMs*** had a chance at that time to stop the test and get a full refund but she chose to proceedOnce the test is processed we do not give refundsWe can offer her a discount on future testing if she would like. In August 2015, we started a weekly Orange and White premium content edition in the Tuesday paper. This premium content section is .50 each week for 7 day subscribers. The information concerning opting out of the premium content charges or the bonus day charges such as the Thanksgiving Day paper can...

be found on page 2 A. I have attached the information. I apologize the represenative didn't inform you that at anytime you can opt out of the premium content section and not be charged the .50 weekly upcharge by calling 864-[redacted]. We also have 4 bonus days a year, which result in a 1.00 upcharge. Examples of these are Thanksgiving, and three other quartely sections such as the Orange and White calendar. These papers that receive the upcharge also have additional valued content for our subscribers. Thanks[redacted]Customer Service Supervisor

The complaints for poor service started on 7/31/15 when a move in/move out was done.  Complaint called in on 8/5 through our automated system, and then complaint on 8/6 and 8/7 where entered by a customer service rep. On 8/7 [redacted] spoke with subscriber, and gave a credit for poor service...

as well as spoke with the carrier. We apologize for the poor service Mr. [redacted] has recieved, but the issue should have been corrected. Thanks

The Independent has not said when the subscription is expiring in its response. I have called to opt out of the Orange & White and they said the matter was now in the hands of the finance department. If subscription expiration dates are influenced by content, this should be included in renewal notices at the beginning of the period, not after they have shortened the period. Placing it in the fine print in the newspaper and calling that "Public Notice" is poor customer relations. Why would a person with a 12 mos. subscription read that section when the renewal notice clearly stated 12 mos. MonSun $114.72 with no mention of anything influencing that price. Nothing short of extending the date to July 31 is satisfactory.

On 7/19 Mr. [redacted] received a renewal notice from us that stated if he paid $114.72 for 12 months he would be carried until 7/26/17. The reason for the difference in expiration dates is our Orange and White premium up charge that occurs every Tuesday. The Tuesday edition has the Orange and White...

publication that all subscribers are charged an additional .50 for. Subscribers have the option to opt out of this charge as stated on page 6A of our paper daily. Subscribers are able to opt out by calling us at 864-[redacted]. If subscribers opt out of this charge, the renewal dates will stay the same. Thanks[redacted]
