I ask ** ** *** to build a shed that I boughtThe shed was a KIT, meaning that it pretty much goes together like legos (with nails)The shed was delivered two weeks prior to any work being started on the shedThe first contractor that came for the shed walked off the job, because the instructions were not in SpanishWay to go ** ** ***Once ** ** *** finally sent over someone that could read English, it turned out to be a tree trimmerKeeping in mind that the shed was a KIT, I come home to discover CUT pieces of the shed on the groundApparently, even his tree trimming shed builder was having a problem with the English instructionsSo to expedite the construction and get things back on track, I had to go out and helpMy generosity earned me a nail though the side of my shoeLuckily the bone stopped it from going in deeperTo this ** ** *** said, "Well no one ask you to go help"After sealing the MANY gaps in the shed from the very poor construction, ** ** *** also wanted to charge me for the cost of shinglesIn an earlier conversation with ** ** *** he said, "We can use the shingles that were left over from the roof, you have already paid for those"Once again, this outfit proved to not be trustworthyThen came the painting fiascoThe painter whom also happens to the fence builder, must have been color blind or just blindHow could you miss painting over caulk that you just applied? Needless to say, after several trips the painting was completedGood job.....no, but completedAfter the terrible job of painting, he switched hats and became a fence builderI stood out in the blazing heat for over minutes telling ** ** *** how I wanted my fence fixedI pointed out examples that were right across the street just in case my desires were not clearI said, "I want my fence to look just like that", which was board on boardThe painter/fence builder began constructing my fence with 3" picketsLuckily I have a neighbor that knew this was not what I wanted and made the call to make me awareAfter stopping this fiasco, ** ** *** wanted me to pay him $for the fence materials that HE messed up onFortunately, I was able to call a competent company a describe over the phone what I wanted, and they delivered in daysI know this long, but it will save you stress
Next came the Air Conditioning units, which I lobbied the insurance company for a 14K check to coverThey covered the units which were replaced for $9800, but ** ** *** thought that he was going to keep the differenceAfter letting him know that the insurance company was aware of the actual cost incurred and that it was a crime to keep the money, he reluctantly wrote a check to the insurance company for the differenceAs the General Contractor, ** ** *** never came by to inspect the work his poor quality workers were doingThe only time he would come by was when I had to point out poor craftsmanship or with his hand out asking for moneyThe only experience with ** ** *** Roofing Company that went well was the roof and guttersI guess he should stick to that, because a General Contractor he is NOTHe sat across the table from me and said, "This is what you have to pay, I pay my billsThat is why I have a credit score" I left off one more if from the start of this reviewIf you are looking for a contractor that threatens to SUE you for work they DID NOT perform.......then look no further
