on 4/11/17 and the proper time was given to extend the account to the correct date of 6/13/17  On 6/08/17 the complainant used the Journal - Courier website portal to make a payment, but instead of making a payment to the current existing account of (#0725482) the complainant started a new subscription, with a new account number (#1425203) and by a different delivery method. (postal) By choosing postal delivery, it is more expensive compared to having it delivered by carrier. When the monies ($259.29) was transferred to the proper account number, it paid her up until 11/21/18 which is 17 months, because the complainant was offered a lower rate. When the Journal - Courier explained that the balance in the account that was created through the website was transferred to the proper account, that is when the request for a refund (6/28/17) was initiated by the subscriber. The complainant failed to mention the reason she received a statement of $179.63 instead of the $212.52 was a good faith gesture by the CSR handling this complaint. The complainant original expiration on the account was 6/13/17 and when the request of a refund on 6/28/17 the complainant had received 15 days of newspapers delivered which equals the $7.84 not included in the refund, which is why a full refund of $260.00 was not refunded.   Sincerely.
