I have already spoken to *** *** on Friday 12/18/15. It has already been arranged to refund her pre-paid funds. It should also be noted that this was not an instance of unfair or fraudulent practices. Our technician performing the maintenance
at her home is new to the industry and it was a simple human error. I explained this is full to the customer during our conversation of last Friday 12/18/

Susan,
I really wanted to come home to see that my ductless HVAC system was correctly repaired and fully
functionalMy fiancée was told by your technician, Robert, that the issue had been identified, corrected, and the system was fully tested to ensure the problem was resolved.However, I come home tonight to confirm that the system is working properly, and I am greeted by a red error light on my ductless HVAC; the only function that actually works properly is the fan function - no heating, no cooling - just a mild current of room temperature air...At this point, I am giving Jacobs' one final chance to fix this problem - and your technician needs to be onsite THIS week AND actually fix the problem, as soon as possibleWhether you repair the system or replace the system entirely - I don't careBut at this point, if it's not resolved in the next visit, I will seek legal counsel

I am rejecting this response because: I understand the contract has "technically" been fulfilled, my concern is not the contractMy concern is the poor quality and dangerous job that was doneThree gas leaks had put my life and everyone else in my house lives at risk due to a potential gas explosionThe installer had left blood all over the pipes with no attempt at cleaning this biohazard upNothing was done correctly in the first placeI had to have this company out on multiple occasion to fix these errorsI want to prevent other consumers from dealing with a terrible company and having a dangerous and potentially deadly experienceI don't want other consumers to make the wrong choice by choosing Jacobs Heating & AC for their HVAC installationI have spoken to the company regarding my issues and concernsEvery time I spoke to anyone at this company regarding my concerns, their response was that they "technically fulfilled the contract" regardless of what dangerous errors and numerous times they had to correct themThe contract may have been "fulfilled" but not without poor quality installation and potentially deadly job, with absolutely no empathey from the company and a simple response that "technically we had fulfilled the contract."

The message just posted on this Revdex.com website was from Tuesday April 26. You and I have been in contact via email and phone since this Revdex.com filed response. Our most recent visit to your home was yesterday, May 2, 2016. Upon arrival the equipment tested was working as per specs. As we discussed this morning, please email or call be back after you test the equipment this evening

To Whom it May Concern:
At Mr***'s request, I have reviewed the history of our services
Upon arrival for their equipment inspection we found multiple water leaks present at the customer's heating equipment and also a vent leaking flue gasses. He also identified that
outdoor Air Conditioning unit was working too hard because of heavy vegetation growth around the unit and recommended that this be trimmed up to prolong life
Our technician informed Mrs*** and our office staff that the equipment would not pass a home inspection in this condition and recommended that these components be repaired. Before leaving he also performed a temporary repair to stop the water from leaking and causing further damage in the interim
We quoted the work to be completed in hours at our regular service rates as this customer does not have a maintenance agreement currently in effect with our company. Mr*** requested a review of the quote and our office staff adjusted the first quote to a lower price as a concession and also because the work had been approved and already scheduled.
The time to perform the repairs on site was hours as Mr*** indicated but this does not include time spent to collect the parts which we ordered. Our technician total time costed to this project was actually hours in total. I have reviewed our parts pricing and the prices we quoted were a total of $with customer mark up. $of these parts were NOT used and NOT needed. I therefore propose that we reimburse the homeowner $as a concession. $worth of parts and $because our technicians arrival time was late on the scheduled day. Respectfully, *** ***

Jacobs Heating and Air Conditioning has spoken with [redacted] many times in regards to her unsatisfaction of her installation of a Carrier gas furnace and thermostat.  I have reached out to [redacted], via phone and mail to call me if there were any further items that haven’t already been...

addressed but have not heard back from Ms. [redacted].  Jacobs has fulfilled its contractual obligations under the March 1, 2017 agreement.  I have attached a copy of the contract for your review.Thank you,Melanie M[redacted]Residential Installation Manager

Mr. [redacted] repair has been scheduled and his questions regarding future warranty visits addressed via email today.
