Jacobs is refusing to recognize his own contract that guarantees workmanship for yrs in writing yet says does not transfer to new homeowners
We bought townhouse 5-30-17; new roof by Jacobs as of 11-Inspection shows problems with workmanship with flashing around chimney resulting in moisture in walls around fireplaceTest by professional mold inspection coindicates presence of dangerous moldJacobs has told us that his warranty is not transferable to new homeowners, that it is a practice with roofers (altho every roofer I have talked with since says this is not THEIR policy)His contract states workmanship is guaranteed for yrs, there are no exclusionsWe have called and texted; been told the foreman would come out and take a lookSent them pictures to confirm the problem and nothingBecause of the potential health problems (wife has autoimmune disease) we were eventually forced to hire another rooferPlus at this point we would not trust Jacobs to do a good job
