This complaint is completely unfoundedMr [redacted] texted me about bats behind his sidingThis was not part of the agreement in which we were hired to performWe took care of his bat issue several months ago and a new issue appears to have arisenIf mr [redacted] would like more services we would be happy to assist when our schedule opens upFurthermore this was a one off service with no implied warranty or guaranteeThis is specifically why we were able to accommodate this job for such an economical price

I had done business for [redacted] to remove a bat from his home and to ensure no other bats were in propertyI had given a quote for clean up and disinfection of attic spaceI was unable to do this work and informed Mr [redacted] of thisNo money was transferred in regards to this transactionI greatly apologize for any confusion or hurt that Mr [redacted] or his wife may have felt at the timeIf Mr [redacted] has another bat in his home I would be happy to for free or at a greatly discounted rate take care of that problem

I did the job The bat was removed from their home I sealed off the house to prevent more bats from getting in He signed off on this and paid the bill. The tube that was left to allow any remaining, undetected bats to exit I was not able to get there at the specified time to remove the tube as I was short handed The tube could have easily stayed until winter In the mean time, he hired another company I was not even given a chance to address further concerns I do not know the scope of the work they did and they may have disinfected the attic but that was not part of our original agreement As I stated I am willing to do future work for this customer but I did complete the work I was paid to do

The response that he made is incorrect.  We paid him $700.00 which he cashed the next day and he did not complete the job. I waited in my driveway for (3) hours for him to show up and complete the job that he did not do. He promised to meet me at a specific time and he came up with excuses.  We needed to hire another company for another $700.00 to complete the work that he had started.  He did not vent the attic correctly nor did he disinfect the attic or remove the bat. I found the bat myself in the trash can deceased. The other company told us that he did a very poor and incorrect job.  We have proof of the cancelled check that he had cashed if you need to see it.

I want to remind the business that the original job was incomplete and that is why we needed to hire another company for another $700.00 to complete the work this business did not do. The caulking at the soffits was not completed plus the venting was installed with a very inexpensive plastic tube and per this other company done incorrectly. There were no screens installed where they should have been. We agree the cleaning and disinfecting was a separate job. He also never came back to remove the plastic tube at the attic vent.
