Complaint Information: We are very sorry to hear that [redacted] is under the impression his system is without warrantyHis system does have a lifetime warranty and his sump pump has a three year manufacturers warranty as stated in the contractHe is by no means obligated to perform the annual service recommended by us if he chooses not tooMost of our customers do because if the pump were to fail we would then replace it at no chargeIt is simply an added assurance and the system is tested cleaned, and batteries changedWhen I called [redacted] to talk about the service at that time he mentioned he had a concern about a possible water leak in the garageWe had not received any notification or heard from him prior to that time so therefore we were unaware of his issueHad he called us we would have come out to assess the concern right away [redacted] was misinterpreted my call in assuming his service was mandatoryHopefully this clears up any confusion he may have had as we strive to keep our customers happy and stand behind our workThank You

I am satisfied that they now agree to honor the lifetime warranty on the system, as part of the terms originally agreed upon in the contractThis new condition, that expensive annual maintenance checks be performed lest the warranty be void (not part of the agreement), is righfully discardedMoving forward, I can rest assured that I can call on JAD basements if problems were to arise from their system

When I called [redacted] to talk about the service at that time he mentioned he had a concern about a possible water leak in the garage.
