Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:I have provided all the information and copies of emails and photos to verify that The second portion was a separate charge That the service did not occur because of scheduling difficulties and That Ms [redacted] did not mention that going over the week mark would be an issueOn the contrary, she claimed it would be okay and I just had to contact her to schedule the touappointmentEvidence of this is in the previously attached emails when I contacted her around the week mark and she did not mention anything about being charged extra, or when the appointment she offered was "no longer available" and I had specified my mother would be away for monthsAgain, if there was to be an issue with the circumstances I explained on the date of the appointment, we would not have paid for the touch up at the initial sessionThe credit is not what we are asking as we are no longer interested in services from Ms [redacted] We would like a refund Regards, [redacted]

The client can be issued a refund in the form of a creditOnce services have been received, we do not issue refunds for permanent makeup services once the client has had part of the procedure done

Ms*** brought her mother to receive services and I honored a *** price but specifically told her the touneeded to be within a certain amount of timeShe indicated her mother was going out of the country, which did not happenHer mother was available to come in but when I gave her
an appointment, there was so much back and forth that the touch up did not take place within the time frameIt is now way past that time frame and I indicated to Ms*** that due to the length of time passed and the pigment healing in the skin, the touwould be more moneyThis is more than reasonable as it will now take me more time and product to complete the serviceI am willing to do the service, however it is only fair that the upcharge be satisfiedI completed the service and am well within my rights to charge the client more when they go beyond the period of time when I honor a special discounted priceEven my website shows the pricing differenceI am very transparentSince the touwas built into the price, a refund is not an optionMs*** will need to pay the additional $to cover the touas she admits to not being available on several occassionsThis is a very popular service and the schedule is not always openI am willing to do the touonce the $is paid

I am rejecting this response because:I understand that MsJanine wants to charge for her services.However, I am no longer asking for the touservice and have made that clear in my communications with herI am asking for a refund for the $that were paid for the tousince the service was not deliveredMs*** 's response was that the "touch-up" was not a separate charge, but the attached portion of our email conversations shows that I asked if the additional $should be paid at the time of the initial microblading appointmentOn the day of the appointment, I asked if I should wait to pay the toufee and was told that either at that moment or later was okayI paid the fee together as I did not think honoring the service fee would be an issueMs*** also refuted to deliver a refund as she claimed I did not respond to the appointment date before my mother left the countryThe email thread I have attached shows that she was the one who canceled the appointment for the October 2nd dateThe email thread does not show Ms*** telling me that she will charge extra for the touch-up, even though this was at the 9-week mark because we had discussed my mother's travel plans at the initial sessionWhen I told Ms*** that if my mother did not have the toubefore leaving the country, my mother would not return until December, Ms*** did not inform me that there would be an issue with scheduling or any additional feesMs*** could have informed me that in December the time frame would be exhausted, or offered to refund the fee that I paid since she knew that my mother would not be available to receive the serviceNone of these things were stated in our communicationsIt was not until I tried to schedule a new appointment after my mother returned that MsJanine said she would charge additional feesI am asking for the toufee to be refunded, we are not asking for Ms.*** 's service.

On the contrary, she claimed it would be okay and I just had to contact her to schedule the touch-up appointment. Evidence of this is in the previously attached emails when I contacted her around the 9 week mark and she did not mention anything about being charged extra, or when the appointment she offered was "no longer available" and I had specified my mother would be away for months. Again, if there was to be an issue with the circumstances I explained on the date of the appointment, we would not have paid for the touch up at the initial session. The credit is not what we are asking as we are no longer interested in services from Ms. [redacted]. We would like a refund.
