We had a fence and deck installed and could not be happier!
ON A SCALE OF 1 to 10. JAG, GETS A RESOUNDING 10+ WITH REPEATED LOUD HAND CLAPS!!!
After having 8 Contractors come to our house for quotes. Only 2 of them followed up with an actual quote. We chose J.A.G.
We went with a floating deck and vinyl fencing. Because we were installing a Hot Tub the deck required reinforcement. J.A.G., was the only company that alerted us to the reinforcement requirement, and they were the only company that made us aware that because of the high slope on one side of our house, and the low slope on the opposite side the post needed to be varying heights.
They estimated it would take 3 days to complete the work. However, the job was completed in 2 days. We needed to make adjustments to deck skirting, stairs, and remove one fence panel because it was warped. They made the adjustments without hesitation.
THE WORK WAS OUTSTANDING. SO MUCH SO THAT 3 NEIGHBORS CAME OVER TO HAVE JAG VISIT THEIR HOMES FOR A QUOTE...
Basically, we are thrilled and want others know if you have a deck or fence project give J.A.G., an opportunity to exceed your expectations!

Deck was not fully completed following in-full payment. Substructure/deck was completed but railing was not finished to satisfaction. JAG did come out once following multiple email requests to minimize spacing between the top of stairs railing and deck railing (previously had large gap) which was fixed, however another initial complaint was that the stair railing was not properly secured, and is very shaky, and was still not fixed properly when they came out to fix the railing spacing. Owner was emailed again several weeks ago about the issue and has not responded. We would simply like the stair railing to be secured properly so that it is no longer shaky and is safe to use when walking on the stairs
JAG will have a contractor return to the property on 3/10/20, to secure the railings. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused, but be assured that JAG will make sure you are satisfied.

The complaint was recently closed on 3/10, as the business had agreed to come that day to fix the issue. It does not appear the business showed up, as the railing is still not fixed. I gave them an extra day due to the rainy weather, and it was still not addressed. The email said to contact you if it was not completed, so I am not sure if this is the best email, or if I need to submit something somewhere else. Please let me know if there is anything else you need from me. Thank you

There
are still large gaps (3/8" - 1-1/4") in the railing that have not
been addressed. Placing a small chunk of poorly cut railing cap to cover up a
mistake isn't a fix! These pieces of railing need to be replaced or the posts
need to be adjusted to make things flush. The wrong screws were used on the
fascia and several have broken off, causing it to sag. JAG has installed larger
screws of a completely different color to secure it in some areas, but is not
reflective of a proper repair. I was working from home at the
kitchen table on 4/2, the date which issues were supposedly addressed, and no
one was here. My husband met with someone a couple weeks ago who didn't have
the right screws to repair the fascia or the means to fix the railing, but
neither of us have seen anyone since then. It is difficult to tell when repairs
are supposedly occurring, as there is no communication or follow-up from JAG on
the status of things.

As of 4/23/20, the deck is still not complete. Gerald may have said the work is complete, however it is not. It may be beneficial for the business owner to inspect the work and meet with the homeowners to see the issues that still need to be resolved. Please refer to previous message for a detailed description of the work that still needs to be completed. This is not an unreasonable request.
