Review: Purchased home from a seller that is investor [redacted] with Jag Housing Inc. We have lived in this home for less than a month. Discovered brand new tile THROUGHOUT is cracking grout and shifting ready to come loose. There is no transition piece from tile to carpet so jagged edges can easily cut feet. We discovered termite damage on floor supporting joists that was KNOWINGLY undisclosed! We did hire a home inspection prior to purchasing the home, but because the termite damage was not clearly visible (they will not dig around for problems) the inspector did not mention it in the report. Also a torn air duct preventing air conditioning or heat going to one of the bedrooms. The attic on the addition has no access and we believe no insulation because significant heat leaks into the second floor bedroom and bathroom. Crack between rim joist and outside sheathing allowing very humid air into basement causing must mold environment. Termite damage to many of studs undisclosed!Much of the work done here can be seen by an untrained professional to be WRONG! We want these problems fixed, plain and simple. [redacted] is supposed to be a professional home investor, he hired people, he should be held responsible for fixing what he was responsible for, so it can be a safe environment for our children to live.Desired Settlement: We want him to pay to replace all the tile.

1. Concerning the tile. Contractor was sent out to review the tile and grout situation but they have not heard back from the contractor or consumer.

2. Concerning termite. Business states termite situation was treated and the termite damage fixed.

3. Concerning the air duct issue. They City of Colonial Heights reviewed and used proper glue for sealing.

I have reviewed the offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

No tile contractor or contractor of any kind from [redacted] JAG Housing has been to our home. No one has come to look at the tile or grout. This is the biggest issue with my complaint about this home investor. The tile floor is deplorable.

The termite comment is true.

The air duct issue response is irrelevant to our complaint. The city of Colonial Heights did not come to our home nor would they get involved. The problem is with a torn air duct in the attic of the home that is supposed to push air into one of the bedrooms.

Also the issue with there being no access to the space above the rear living room wasn't even addressed.
