Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me if they can remedy the issue I have also attached my emails between Mr [redacted] and I that outline all the issues I had trying to get the gutters and his response when I told him about the flashing coming down I've copied below There was never any time frame given to me Just that he would get out there and that was on 2/25/and I never heard back from him I truly did not wish to cause any trouble for him or his company [Good morning [redacted] , I'm sorry to hear that I will definitely look into that and take care of that for youSent from my Verizon Wireless 4G LTE DROID [redacted] wrote:***, The flashing your company installed has already fallen down in the back of my house Apparently they didn't feel the need for nails on it So very disappointed in the quality of work done that it didn't even last one year [redacted] Regards, [redacted]

To whom it may concern;
We are responding to the complaint we have received regarding *** ***'s roof and gutter work(consumer complaint #***)
We believe Mrs***'s complaint at this time is pre-mature because the investigation
has not been completed. We currently have a number of resolutions going on with Mrs***'s complaint.
The first resolution is:
We have called *** *** insurance company to investigate Mrs***'s claims. The contact person is *** *** at * *** *** *** ext***.
Claim # ***The claim was called in within the last week to week and a half. The adjuster arrived at Mrs***'s house on May 14, to assess any damages Mrs*** is claiming. We are waiting to hear back from *** *** about the results of the claim and pursuing them for an answer as soon as possible
In addition to the insurance claim a second resolution has also been implemented
The second resolution:
We have contacted the *** Roofing (the manufacturer of the shingles installed on Mrs***'s roof) representative, *** ***, and *** *** from *** Building Supplies (the supplier of the atlas shingles installed on Mrs***'s roof),
both the manufacturer representative and the supplier representative will be contacting Mrs*** to do a review of the roof/shingles
We are also going to entertain having a certified home inspector review Mrs***'s complaint as wellAlthough, due to access denied to us, she has had another roofing company start so-called repairs which may prove impossible to verify any wrong installations were done. We are suspicious and concerned that tampering or manufactured damage may have occured
We can supply any documentation, including all emails, showing that we have corresponded with Mrs*** and her complaint
We have not been out "13" times to address Mrs***'s roof complaints. It has been far less than the amount stated since she has been refusing to let us come out and/or fix any issues
We are exhausting all our resources to try to satisfy this issue. If you have any questions please contact me at my direct line ***
Thank you for your attention to this matter,
*** ***

To Whom It May Concern:
This email is in response to Mrs ***'s complaint regarding the flashing on her home I spoke with *** ***, our estimator that was recently in contact with Mrs*** Mrs*** was told by *** *** that we had her scheduled
for a service call as soon as the weather had permitted (the week of March ,2015) The week is not up yet and we had rain today The complaint apparently must be a mistake because we do have Mrs*** scheduled for this week as discussed with her It has not yet been determined if the flashing came loose due to a weather related issue such as wind or ice or any other factors that may have resulted in the customers flashing coming loose The complaint is a little premature in our opinion and we look forward to getting Mrs***'s concern looked at this week as soon as possibleThank you,

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I sent Mr. [redacted] the 4 inspections/quotes from other Roofing Companies after we discovered a water mark on our garage ceiling and upstairs bathroom AGAIN this spring.  As I stated in my original complaint, Mr. [redacted] and/or his brother-in-law, [redacted] have been here at least 13 times since the roof/skylights/gutters were installed in 2013 to address concerns.  The answer to those concerns is almost always a tube of caulk or placing blame on another structure/issue with the house and then for good measure some more caulk.  As, we have lost complete confidence in this company we contacted another highly regarded roofing company, [redacted] Roofing, for 2 reasons--we wanted to put a leaf protection system on our garage/porch area and have another set of eyes take a look at the leak issues.  That then prompted having 3 other roofing companies come out to see if their assessment was similar.  The only thing each company was told is that we would like a quote for a leaf protection system and for a general roof inspection.  After each representative came down they asked if we were having water issues in the house.  Then, I explained what we had experienced.
Summer 2014, [redacted] replaced a cracked chimney crown and brought our attention to the poor workmanship of [redacted]'s crew around the chimney--no new flashing or at minimum a very poor job of flashing around the chimney.
This spring when we had a repeat performance of the garage leak and the bathroom leak I also had our general contractor, [redacted], put his eyes on the situation--he also reported poor workmanship by [redacted]'s company in general.
The first 2 attachments:  List of visits by [redacted] or [redacted] after roof/gutter/skylights were installed.  I give them credit they always returned my calls and came out.  To their large discredit--they just put bandaids on everything and did not do the work right to begin with.
The document I created for our insurance company which lists the discrepancies of what was said was done vs. what was done.
I will attach the quotes from the roofing companies in a separate e-mail --it is my belief that if all 4 came to the same/similar conclusion that I am not "fabricating" anything. All told me that the quotes were only an estimate and a thorough determination of damage or problems could not be made until the work got started.  We have photos from all 4 companies during the inspections and we have numerous photos while we have been have been fixing the most important problems now with [redacted] Roofing.  After [redacted] finishes the work, I can send the new invoice which will detail what was done.
As there are many photos and many documents, I will attach a few at a time.  I have also created a document per my insurance company's ([redacted]) request, it is a comparison of what [redacted] indicated on the Certificate of Completion vs. what was actually done and what is being done to remedy some of the problems.
[redacted], is partly correct--we will not let him back on our property.  He has had way too many opportunities to fix these issues--he either has no idea of what he is doing or what should be done or he is fabricating his story or a combination of the two.  We have been very clear since the very beginning that we wanted this work done well and correctly.  We knew that the roof/gutters/skylights had some issues and we wanted the foundation of all those areas fixed and not with a band-aid before the products were installed.  [redacted]'s company has cleaned my gutters for several years--he has heard me say too many times to count that some real yahoo's built this house and that every step along they way we are fixing things the right way--no short cuts.  We would not have purchased upgraded shingles, upgraded 6" gutters, leaf protection system on the upper level of the house if we were looking for the cheap way out.  He certainly wasn't our cheapest quote and he confirmed over and over again that he had the benchstrength and knowledge needed to do this job.  I told him at the beginning we would be the best of friends if he did the job well, but would not tolerate shoddy workmanship. He assured us he would put his best crew on the job.  If this was his best crew I pity the folks who get any other crews.
Regards,
[redacted]

[Good morning [redacted], I'm sorry to hear that I will definitely look into that and take care of that for you.
