I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # ***Please add your rejection comments below.
The Landscape firm claims he is certified in doing hardscapesWhen he came to give us an estimate of the project, looking over the work, we found the estimate high at $4000.00, but we were in a hurry to have the work done before the asphalt paving firm came to put down the last layer of asphaltWe assumed he knew how to lift the brick path properly so that the job would last longer than one month in a stable stateThe path has been intact for over years...it had just settled and needed to be raisedOf course my husband was uncomfortable when *** came by to the house last weekHis discomfort came when *** told him he would come do the work if I removed the complaint with the Revdex.com. I did not file the complaint lightlyIt was done after repeated phone calls and months time, giving him until the fall, thinking he may be very busy with ongoing summer and fall jobsWinter is to set in and the repairs have not happenedAn appropriate response when I spoke with *** before filing the complaint would have been; "Oh, I forgot to come by and hydroseed! Let me come by and take care of that by Let me get you a credit/reimbursement for that." And for the pathway fails, a response such as; " I will attend to that by such and such a date..." and then come and do the work in an adequate fashion. We have had patios, walkways and a rock wall put in since we have owned our home and have not had such fly by night work such as thisIt left us disappointed and felt taken advantage ofWe are sorry it has come to a formal complaintI initially liked the owner and his coworker and had high hopes for continued business relationship with himThe reason we called him up in the first place was because the paving firm recommended them to usIn hindsight, it would have been better to go with our past firm

After we spoke I went to the [redacted] residence and inspected the issues that she said she was having. not sure what happened but we replaced them.  While there her husband came out and was obviously uncomfortable talking with us.  We inspected the brick walkway which has damage in several spots.  I spot is in the area where we raised the walkway.  We did a little talking with her husband and one of the reasons we came up with that the edges were moving is there is no snap edge installed.  He stated there has never been any which when we did the work there was none found.  If you go to [redacted] they lay out the proper installation procedure for installing paver walks and patios.  One of the major steps is installing snap edge.  We had listed out a few options for repairing the entire walkway which I was willing to pay fopr the entire labor portion of the walkway all we asked was that they pay for the material which would be around $600.00 of which I would also pay $200.00 of for the hydro seed credit.  He said he would talk to his wife and they would get back to me.  Once again neither one of them has gotten back to us.  This is the same issue we have run into in the past.  Last communication at he beginning of November was she was going to get me info and get back to me.  She never did.  This is our biggest issue with the Revdex.com, anyone can make a complaint that is barely half true and far from accurate and it goes on your record.  A complaint should be proven to have merit and accuracy before it affects a contractor that bends over backwards to keep their customers happy even of the repair work has nothing to do with the work performed. We were hired to lift the 2 walkways at their house.  That is all.  The only material required was a little bit sand, topsoil, and $200.00 worth hydro seed.  We had 6 people at the job site for over 10 hrs.  our labor rate is $55.00 per hour per person with tools and trucks included.  At this point the walkways have both been repaired in the areas that we did the work. I have pictures that if needed I will forward to you.  This should not be put as a complaint against us. The customers want us to jump at their convenience but when you need info or action from them it is ok for them not to respond but still expect you to complete the task.  this just doesn't seem right does it.
