I apologize for not handling your issue personally In retrospect that is something I should have done I have been working out of town on big jobs Many days those jobs have me working hour days This is why I asked Josh to handle the situation I am sorry that my office staff was not able to handle it to your likingI would like to respond to your complaint One thing you mentioned that you wanted was for Jake to call you I can do that this coming Monday 2/29/at 9am The other thing you mentioned in your complaint was that you wanted the dishwasher installed correctly In order to do that, an air gap would need to be installed That was not covered by HAS when they paid us to install the dishwasher It would not be covered now We believe the best course of action would be for you to hire another company to take care of that for you In the report we have from A & E, it states that in September the dishwasher was working correctlyI do not see how the drain backing up would be our fault I also do not see how damage to your garbage disposal would be our fault I believe you have a stoppage in your drain We believe the best course of action would be for you to hire another company to take care of that for you I have looked over the reports you gave us and stand by our first response We have turned the claim over to insurance and you have been paid for the damage to the floor

We agree to pay up to $for a service call fee, for the company of your choice to come and install the air gap for you. By doing this, you agree to relinquish Jake’s Heating and Air Conditioning, LLC of any and all responsibility past this point

[Provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution.] Jakes was paid to do the installI want it installed properly I did try to find a other company and they want to charge me $to install the air gap because I have to pay for the service callI should not have to pay for the a second service call because your company was already sent outIf you read the user manual for installation the air gap is necessary your tech should have installed it rigbtI am aware this is a modification not covered by warranty however I should have just paid tell difference not a whole new service callMy home warranty company advised me of thatThe garbage disposal does not work because of the dishwasher not be installed correclyI do not expect this to be done for free however your company installed and your company should fix it and not expect me to pay another company a service charge

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I am blown away at the sheer amount of LIES and claims this company has madeFirst of all Jakes did not install the dishwasher correctly per the user manualMy home warranty company did advise me that it was a modification needed and they will not pay for it, but Jakes should have installed it correctly to begin withJakes was told this many many times too many to countJakes was told about this and the flooringI made it very clear that JAKES had issues 1) the water line was not correctly installed and this caused the leak and 2) per the user manual a syphon break should be installed if a garbage disposal is usedWhen Donny came out he even confirmed the second issue and then said he could not fix It because the floor issue was going on he wanted to have some one higher up to look at it I never stated that the solenoid valve was badJakes tech told me that and it was NEVER confirmed that it was badA E factory service told me it was not bad. So we finally talked to *** *** *** *** was only concerned about the water line issue and he was told that it was Jakes fault and so he agreed to pay for the floor.I was told by Patty and Leslie to get a quote, per Jake prior to me ever dealing with *** *** I did just thatWhy on earth would I have people come to quote this job just for gigglesI even sent them the quote to this email *** on December 9thIt said it was the quote and they Leslie confirmed they got itThis was before *** *** was involvedObviously they were expecting the quote because they gave me the email to send it to.My home warranty company did call Jakes times to try and get them to correct the installationIt is a lie that they were never asked to fix the installationJake NEVER called AE as he stated because AE said they could not talk to Jake with out us due to privacyAnd yes I was told that they were supposed to send the recordsI have an voicemail from Patty and Jakes from the 11th that says exactly this"Hi Anna I just wanted to let you know that Jake called AE this morningHe was told that they have to open a case in order for them to send the recordsThey said this could take days for them to emailI just wanted to let you know we are working on resolving this for you. If you have any questions feel free to call me back" I called her back to clarify and she said Jake was told they had to open a case in order for the to retrieve the emailsI called numerous times in that time period because they kept saying they did not get the emailsI told them I had the records but they did not want it from meI eventually had to get the records emailed to me (for privacy) so I could forward them onIf I was going to give them the records I would have either taken them up there or scanned my records but they HAD to have them from AEI sent them email to Jakes on 12/I got the records email me to within an hourJake called my husband ONE time and Jake even told my husband about waiting on the records from AE*** *** was not involved in that process he does not know what was said. I had to call ALOT to get someone to come out of a higher power then Donny and this how *** *** was involved*** *** was in denial it was not installed correctly and gave me EXCUSES of the problem.It is Jakes responsibility to install it correctly per the user manual because they were paid to install it by my warranty companyYes the syphon break was a modification and my warranty would not cover it BUT that does not mean they don't have to do a proper installationI should have paid the extra cost that is itAndrew from my home warranty company even called Jakes on this to see if he could get a resolution and they told him they already fixed it, they lied to my warranty company.Yes my warranty expired BUT this was still going on to a covered claim to it was still under review by HSAJakes should have paid for the floor they ruined it by not securing the water lineMy husband was home with me on the 11th and no point did Jakes call AEMr Russell called AE himself when he came out but that was not until December 9th.On December 23rd when the AE tech came out (and Mr Russell failed to show up) , Mr Russell had a conversation with me that he would call his own floor guy and they would call meIf I didn't hear from him by the 1st of the year to call back so I didMagically the day I called to check on it, an hour later they called and they told me *** *** had just called them an hour prior for the first timeNO ONE From Jakes ever told they were turning it into insuranceMy home warranty company (Andrew) had to find out because they would not cooperate with meAll of this non sense was brought to light when I received the message from Katie on facebook because I posted a bad review and she was following upShe was so nice and helpful and wanted to help me resolve the installation issue.Upon her checking with *** *** and Jake she was told because I filed this complaint that they could not help meThis appears nothing more than retaliation in response to the complaintShe wanted to help until she found out about this complaint....I am not sure where to go from hereI am not sure the Revdex.com is the right forumI have a broken dishwasher and my garbage disposal will not work eitherThe dishwasher is full of water and will not longer drain and so the disposal is clogged tooGE said since it was not installed right it caused this issue and voided my manufacturers warrantyI was highly upset by this complaint and AGAIN asked for the owner to call and that still has not happenedKelly (co owner) has not called me eitherI am pretty disgusted that they make this poor new office manager lie and respond to this complaint and will not be grown adult BUSINESS OWNERS and talk to meShame on you Jake and Kelly!!!! thank you for ruining my dishwasher that was brand new and still has not been used for dishesIf I had not mentioned to Katie that this complaint was filed it would not have been responded to because clearly they do not careIt did not go spamthat is ridiculousThat is all for now....Maybe in the meantime Kelly might return a call hmm....P.SMy warranty company is going to send me records of all of the calls which will include the calls made to Jakes on my behalf. Again I have tons of proof this all a lie
