To whom it may concern, In our effort to best serve our customer base, we reserve the right to ban customers for refusing to tip our staff or for outright negative behaviorThe majority of our customers understand this, and there is signage posted upon entering and leaving the establishment clearly
laying out these rulesMr***, unfortunately, was found in violation of both of these rulesOur staff implements a very thorough process for banning a customer: at least two team members must submit a complaint about an individual, and the complaints are both notated and verified via transaction logs and video surveillanceIn this particular instance, Mr*** was banned for both not tipping on multiple occasions and for his aggressive attitude toward our staffThe claim that our business is “fabricating excuses” is untrue as we have a well-documented history of Mr***’s transgressions, and the aforementioned posted signage disproves that “tipping is never stated as a mandatory requirement.” Mr*** was made aware by management both in person and via phone call that he was banned for “not tipping and behavior,” and didn’t respond in either instance that he received “bad or no service.” Further, the opinion that “tipping is a luxury” is not one that we share; our staff’s livelihood depends directly on positive customer interaction, and they strive to maintain a professional and personal symbiotic relationship with these customersWe are disappointed to receive such a complaint as we work hard to serve and improve our neighborhood and communityWe hope this response has provided enough detail to keep us in good standing with the Revdex.comBest regards, Jessica K*** Owner, Jake’s Pub, Inc
