I responded to the company’s statement they were willing to “work out something”, but have received nothingAlso, the manager either won’t take my calls or return calls for a week now, so you can record this one as not resolvedI’ll have to use small claims court after allThanks for trying

Good afternoon,On 12/19/13 Mr [redacted] did purchase a half of cord of firewood and had it delivered to his property. We have no complaints on file on any of our firewood around the same time period that Mr. [redacted] purchased his firewood. If we did have a unsatisfied customer we always make it right...

in one way or another in a reasonable time period. We sell 500 Cord of firewood every season and have never had any complaints of non burning, unseasoned firewood. All our wood is seasoned for over a year, stored in a big pile that we turn over a couple times a monththen screened to get any loose bark debris out of the wood. I'm not denying that he did not call the office and speak with a sales person in 2013 questioning the wood, but why did it take almost a year to file a complaint? Thank you.[redacted]

I have not received any telephone messages. My number is [redacted]. I appreciate it is not practical to perform labor on site. Maybe the easiest thing is to just refund the money and I'll hire our local maintenance guy to do the remove/replace work. Does that work for you?
Thanks,
[redacted]

I am not sure what direction to go into to make Mr. [redacted] satisfied with his firewood he purchased December of 2013. I have called and left 2 messages at the number he provided and had one call returned but was out of the office  and have not had the second call returned.I would love to work something out with Mr. [redacted], however the proposal he sent us in his letter is beyond our capability. We purchase ready to burn seasonedFirewood from our vendor and resell and deliver it to our very many customers. He is asking us to take away the old firewood, deliver a new load, stack it and splitIt to a smaller size. The problem is that we don’t have the capability or manpower to split the wood that is already the correct size and haul it to his location he stacksIt which is on the backside of a condo development. We provide a delivery service in which we backup to a driveway or yard and dump out the firewood as we do all year longWith thousands of yards of Mulch and loam deliveries every year. Out of the 300 Cords of wood we did the past year, Mr. [redacted] is the only person that had a complaint aboutNon-burning wood. I can assure you that our firewood meets all the criteria for calling it Seasoned firewood.  I am willing to come to an agreement but I think it should be fair on both sides. We strive to make sure our customers are happy since we are in such a small tight communitybut sometimes there is no pleasing everyone.

As you can see from my complaint, I took [redacted]'s word last year that it must be an exception, and the rest of the wood would be OK. At some point I decided to try to make it work with starter logs and expected it would be cured and fine after a few months, or at least by next season. I was leaning over backwards to avoid having you remove all the wood and replace it, since I only have storage for a half chord. Then I wrote you a letter last month, which you ignored, and made three phone calls, which you did not respond to. So the question is, what are you willing to do at this point?
