Poor Service,Inferior Products,Lack of Communication, No Follow Through After Project Completed, Didn't Provide requested Materials Realted to project
Hired Corp for Landscape project. Requested a particular blue spruce tree several months before project and showed up with a poorly conditioned tree & told best they could get. Rejected the tree & within 24 hours was able to produce a respectable tree.
Planted Hydroseed grass, left no information on care, sent two e-mails for info and never responded back. Grass has only grown sufficiently in 75% of grass area. It has been watered well & treated by a fertilization company during summer.

Same area as Blue Spruce requested flowers, loam & mulch plus both my wife & I personally informed project manager we wanted black cloth weed material placed in this area, since it is a separate court yard that won't be mowed. We were informed this would be taken care of, yet they never put this down as requested & both weeds & grass are growing around & in the flowers/plants.
Sent e-mail to Business & told them but they responded you have to hire someone.

This project has been performed well below standard operating performances, they have an I don't care attitude, several of the flowers have very small cheap buddings, like they came from Walmart.
We paid good money for a quality project and received a quick I am out of here, see you later project.

If this project was too small for them, they never should have accepted it. Instead they got good money for a lack luster job & communications & would not provide any materials as requested.

Desired Outcome

Come back in & provide the proper black cloth weed materials for the plantings area, reseed if needed for inferior grass areas and update the three or four plants.

Jam's owner returned and his staff removed all external (showing) weeds. He explained that everything was above surface and we needed to weed occasionally.

After his staff removed the surface weeds I found that the basic weed was not gone and it was in fact BELOW the Black clothe and protruding thru it.

Before the clothe was put down Jam said it did not have to clear the surface and it appears they did not apply a weed killer before the black clothe was put down. Because of this the weeds are continually growing underneath the black cloth & protruding through. We specifically discussed this topic prior to installation (the day of) and was assured the weeds would not come thru. THEY DO STILL COME THRU.

I have sent emails and calls out to *** to remove. We sent a crew out to his house to makes things right for him about a month ago . We spoke to his wife while on job site . I don't know what else to do , but we have done everything on our end to try and satisfy a tough customer.

I contracted with J.A.M. to landscape our property with new grass. There is only weeds growing and very little grass.
We contracted with J.A.M. for landscaping our front and back yard and well as installing a fence around the back yard. They had to return to redo part of the fence, which has been completed. They removed all of the existing grass and had a company come and hydroseed the front and back yard. Now we have a yard of weeds and almost no grass. In addition, multiple sprinkler heads and lines were damaged which cost about $1100 to have repaired. I have called J.A.M. to complain multiple times. No one from J.A.M. has been back to inspect the work and it is almost impossible to get a return phone call. We paid $8000 to have this work done (excluding the fence) and now we are going to have pay to have another company redo the work. We were then told by the hydroseed company after the hydroseeding was done that we would have to pay an additional $500 to guarantee the grass. I feel we have been taken advantage of by this J.A.M.

Desired Outcome

I am seeking a partial refund in the amount that it will cost to have another company replace the weeds that are growing with grass. I will be getting estimates from other companies for this work to be completed.

We as well tried to reach out and the conversation with him and our project manager did not go well . There was a threat made to our project manager and he was extremely un professional in a conversation we tried to have .

We do have a 2 page letter written if this gets posted as well as all the papers on what we did to scope.

Driveway was put in poorly had to hire another contractor to correct the problem.
I'am a sixty six senior citizen that was taking advantage of by this company they sub out another contractor that they used that was doing work down the street from me doing a driveway the work was very poorly done had to have another contractor do the work to correct it. I hope other senior
citizens will not have to go with this experience.

To get a refund for over charge of job

Good Afternoon,

We have been around for 30 years repeatable company,
have never received a complaint like this before.
We went and did the work for the client as stated in the estimate he approved. There was a concrete piece next to a wall in the driveway area, that was never said to be removed which was not listed to remove in estimate. The day before it was time to pave our project manager asked him and his son if everything looked good and they agreed . So we went forward with the paving. He came home and was not happy with concrete , We told him we would take 1800 off the bill which we didn't not even have to do that as listed in contract. We did all the work that was requested and now it came time to pay and he refused. I then got a message on on home adviser and Revdex.com personally bashing our company. I spoke with that day and he said he would take this down if he I took total payment down. He was a very tough customer to deal with and end of story didn't want to pay even with a generous discount to keep the peace .
A comment like this should not be posted especially a website where we do business with.
I would truly ask this comment left will be removed.

The drainage was also put in wrong City of Worcester management services office sent a licensed drainlayer to assess the work done at the property. the 2 drain lines that were installed did nothing to remedy any problems at the house.One of the drain lines was on my neighbors property and has to be fixed with more cost to me.

Driveway was fixed by another contractor was not leveled with many areas not raked had a few driveway contractors look at the job and all agreed was not put in right way.
