contacted directly by C&B Electric Plumbing & Heating INC regarding complaint ID ***, however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
I actually called them they agreed to come back to the house and fix problems and they stood me up, they didn't show AGAIN, four times in a row, they said they were coming and did not.***

Review: C&B Electric Plumbing and Heating made the following FALSE, MIS-LEADING and FRAUDULENT statements to me regarding the sale of a slightly used boiler.The company [redacted] stated that I would be purchasing a boiler that was in fact:1) A couple of weeks old and would still be covered under the manufactures warranty.2) The company maintained a "MASTER PLUMBERS LICENSE" along with any necessary and required bonding and insurance requirements as defined by New York State law.3) That the removal of the old boiler and the installation of the slightly purchased boiler were to be handled by plumbers that were properly trained licensed and insured.4) The [redacted] of C&B also represented to me that part of the monies being paid to them by me, would cover any and all costs associated with the installation of the slightly used boiler along with expenses incurred by them to file the necessary permits through the N.Y.C. department of buildings, to ensure that any and all work was done according to the buildings department code and standards.5) The [redacted] represented that they would in fact provide a warranty for the boiler in addition to the manufactures one that is still in existence for a period of 3 years.6) The [redacted] represented that they would guarantee their work performed for a term of 1 year, in regards to any installation work that was performed and they would provide a service contract for such.7) I later found out that all of the above is a complete lie and nothing was factual about the boiler.8) I left a $700.00 good faith deposit prior to the work being performed, when I asked fro copies of the contract outlining the terms and conditions represented by them to me, I was told they would bring the paperwork the day they handled the installation.9) The day they came to install the boiler they sent 5 of their (so called plumbers) to just carry the boiler down the stairs.Desired Settlement: A reimbursement for all monies paid because the boiler is defective.[redacted]
