We had a very bad experience with James & Asocciates and would not recommend it to anyone.
Our taxes were way more complex in 2018 than 2019 but initially we were charged more for our 2019 taxes. When we confronted them with this fact, they did lower our fee by a little bit. After this was done, we asked what the hourly rate was because it seemed to be still way to high for such simple taxes (married couple, no kids, no properties, one job each). We never got an answer about an hourly rate and we ended up being charged over $400, and this was the best they could do.
If you decide to use this service, be aware that they will most likely not give you an hourly rate which was the case for us.
