I am rejecting this response because: I will respond with the same type of rhetoric he spewsI am really happy for him that he has been in business in for so many years and has received numerous awardsI do not understand what this has to do with my situationMaybe business was slow when I contacted himPossibly he was feeling particularly greedy at this timeMaybe he took me for a foolMaybe he deals with a lot of naive or very rich people Whatever, the facts remain the sameHe took $from me and all I got was a ridiculously large number on a sticky noteHe quoted $25,and I got the project completed for under $5,I do not care how wonderful his company isIt could not have turned out any better
it is unfortunate that things did not work out between the two of usI have been doing construction for over twenty years and have learned that every relationship does not work out as plannedthe project that we designed was priced out and hard bidI understand that the owner did a smaller less complicated repair and performed himself, and yes that resulted in a less expensive projectI am happy that he has performed the project and that it is almost donewe wish him nothing but the best
