I am rejecting this response because: The *** C*** Homes Homeowners manual WAS NOT PART OF THE R-construction agreement. It appears *** C*** Homes did not apply stucco according to IRC means and methods. He relies on the Quikrete stucco specification study for Florida application not Idaho. The first coat of stucco was applied on February 8, when the night temperatures were below freezing that whole week. The Code requires constant application above 40F. The Code requires 1/8" furring which pictures show that the gauge mesh used was fastened directly to the substrate with little or no furring distance. The code requires the stucco application be made by a certified technician, which to date I have no documentation to that affect.I still demand damages of $36,for improperly applied stucco, which is a price received from a qualified stucco contractor to make the proper repairs. Recoloring WILL NOT permanently remove hairline cracks. An additional $64,in punitive damages for in-square walls, warped cabinet doors, door jambs not level, poor drywall finishing, and other problems with the construction.
