This letter is a response to Complaint ID *** filed on /13/14,Customer called regarding a drain line that was backing up; on /22/our technician went out and checked for the blockageAt that time he blew out the line with a pressure
bali; however he advised that this would help the situation now but was just a temporary fixOur technician advised this customer that the line was old and should be replacedHe informed her that we could come out and run the large sewer machine through the main line which would help the situation but would not correct the problem totally due to the bad shape of the lineCustomer asked approximately how much to run the sewer machine through the line and our technician stated it could be up to depending on how long it would take to get through the lineCustomer asked to have an estimate given to her to replace the sewer line but was extremely concerned because of cost.I gave this customer a price of to replace the sewer line (not just unclog the blockage) without going out to look at the situation due to the fact that my technician knows what he is looking at and gave me all the information needed to give an estimate to replace the sewer lineIf this customer prefers riot to have this work completed due to the cost that is totally her decisionWe value our customers and are willing to work with this customer as we are with all of our customersWe feel our prices are fair and we stand by all our work; everyone is treated equally as far as pricing and quality of work, I feel this complaint is unjustified and there has been some misunderstanding with this customer that could have been resolved with a simple phone call to me.If you require any further information on our partplease do not hesitate to contact me.Sincerely,

I am rejecting this response because:  The plumber [redacted] did NOT say it would be $300 to clean out the pipes, he said it was that price to REPLACE them.  My brother-in-law was standing right beside me and can very that is what was said.
I still want my $106.25 refunded because that tiny pressure ball wouldn't have even cleaned out good pipes.
