The class room and building were changed due to a flood at Ivy Tech the prior week. The complainant's were emailed 9/1/17 to notify them...

of the change. The building and room the class was originally scheduled was well marked as closed due to flooding and had no cars in the parking lot. The building the class was moved to was right next door and had many cars in the lot. 30 other attendees received the email and were able to locate the correct class. The phone number they called the evening of the class is just simply a reservation taking service. The reservation service emailed me to notify me of the problem but I was the one teaching the class and did not receive the email until after the class at 9:30 pm so I waited until 10:00 am on 9/8/17 to call them back, I left a message for both MR. and his wife to apologize for the mix up and offer a refund. Mrs complainant returned my call on Friday 9/8/17 at 3:56 pm where I told her I was extremely sorry for the mix up and offered a full refund and also offered them to attend any of our upcoming classes at no charge. The complainant's full refund was mailed out to them first thing on 9/11/17.
These classes are put on by Adult Financial Education Services I am just the instructor.
