We were acting as an agent for *** *** Warranty CompanyWe responded to a work order thatthey had issued for MrBonerbThe faucet was deteriorated and beyond repairWe were told by thewarranty company that his policy did not cover the faucet.We provided him with the contact information for
the field representative for Home Buyers WarrantyCompany to discuss his problem.He should contact *** *** Warranty for resolution to his problem.James ***LoBue Plumbing

According to our home inspection that was done, all of our plumbing in our house had minor issuesOur bathroom sink upstairs that MrJim had broken was in good working condition but had a minor leak in the faucetIt was in WORKING order before he broke itWe had used the sink many timesI had contacted the warranty place many times and asked them who was at faultThey said it was the contractor faultThey explained to me that all the contractors that receive work orders are told was is covered and what is not coveredHe broke something that was not covered on our warranty, (His Fault) He tried fixing some that was not covered on our warranty ( His fault)So why is my family and I left with no working sink and no running water in our upstairs bathroom, ( His fault )The warranty company wants me to pay another to upgrade my plan to have something fix that was broken( worked fine before) but worked fine beforeTo have a someone come into your house, break something, leave and not saying anything is not only unprofessional but morally wrongJim needs to contact *** *** (regional manger) *** and come to an agreement of who is going to reimburse me for the damagesJim told us we need a new faucet, counter top and sinkThe old sink was to outdated to replacedHe left and that was it.We Received a call from our home warranty company saying all work was completeThat's when I contacted Jim and he told me It was not covered, then why did he try to fix something that was not cover, I even told him before he started to create havoc not to touch anything that was not covered

In response to the additional information that *** *** has supplied- We spoke to the regional manager from *** *** Warranty ( *** ***) again yesterday regarding this issueHe confirmed to me that at no time did *** *** say or feel that our company is at faultHe informed me that *** *** has bent every rule trying to make resolution with Mr*** but he has not cooperated at allHis policy does not provide coverage for the faucet and they will allow him to secure the coverage that he needs.The work order that we received stated that the faucet would not stop runningThat is clearly not a faucet that is in WORKING order.*** *** is more than willing to work with him, he needs to contact them for the resolution to this problemLoBue Plumbing Inc

On 3/28/2016, [redacted] send me a work order [redacted] for a water stain on a Kitchen ceiling. On 3/29/2016, I went to Mr. [redacted] residence at [redacted], Mr. [redacted] was not home and his wife showed me the stain on the ceiling in the kitchen. Stains of this...

nature are typically due to leaking shower doors, or failure of caulk in a tub/shower, or a defective wax seal on a water closet. After investigation in the main bathroom, the tub spout had no caulk which was leaking. So, I re caulked the spout. Then, I went to the master bathroom which is located directly behind the main bath and sprayed the shower door with water and the door failed. The door needs to be replaced and this was causing the leak to the ceiling.After my diagnosis, Mr. [redacted] returned home and I showed the re caulking of the spout and the shower doors and how they were failing and advised that they be re placed.I wrote a receipt for the deductible of $75 which he paid and noted on his receipt t hat re-caulked tub spout and found master shower door leaking and handed it to him.He subsequently called and requested a REVISED written receipt that the sink traps did not leak. We told him that our diagnosis ended after finding the spout caulk issue and the shower door failure, we never checked the traps because if there was a problem there would have damaged to the cabinets.The t raps that he is concerned about are not located near the stain on the ceiling in the kitchen. Mr.[redacted] incorrectly self-diagnosed the problem.It is not our company policy to say that we PERFORMED work that we did not. We are truly customer focused but will NOT provide false documents. Business called and added that [redacted] had a representative call the consumer earlier in the month, offered to update his policy and backdate it to allow the repairs to be covered. As of today, [redacted] has not heard back from the consumer. Originally the consumer had a very basic warranty, and the repairs would not be covered.

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  The reported problem was leaking sink traps and the receipt should indicate that - that is not falsifying anything. We fully expect a receipt stating that no leak was seen from the sink traps which we reported and what was dispatched as the problem.Regards,[redacted]

We are sorry that Mr. [redacted] is not satisfied with the resolution of his complaint.We diagnosed the problem at the time to be:"After investigation in the main bathroom, the tub spout had no caulk which was leaking. The door needs to be replaced and this was causing the leak to the ceiling."Our investigation stopped when we found these two problems. We did not look at the t raps and cannot state anything about there condition. I must reiterate that our company does not or will not falsely state that they performed work that they did not do.
