I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted]. If it were "one stray call" we would not have pursued this. I am extremely busy and cannot afford to take time if it were not repeated. So the company's records on this are wrong. And as a consumer I am not concerned about whether this is "marked in red" or whatever other internal logistics are required. However, IF the company makes good on its word and ceases and desists any further contact to us, then this response/resolution is satisfactory to us. So yes: satisfactory. But conditional upon the company following its words with deeds.

In reference to your letter I received on August 5, 2016 about Mr. [redacted]. We never received a mail return on the 5 notices we sent. After the conversation where he told us that he had a death in the family, it took us almost 6 months to get Mr. [redacted] to communicate back with us and we did...
send a notice out for him. He didn’t pay the account in full when he paid and that is why we called and then were nice enough to write the balance off. We also explained the process for copies of the receipt or printouts of the accounts. We asked he send a SASE. This is our policy. His credit report will reflect the balance change in the next cycle. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Again, the unprofessionalism is displayed IN WRITING from the staff of PAS. For starters, I asked for a response from someone other than Frank as he is clearly part of the problem. Someone who makes statements like "were nice enough to write the balance off" when it comes to two dollars and change is truly displaying an unprofessional attitude and his superiors need to be aware. If PAS is going to act so rude and unprofessional about two dollars and change I will gladly send it their way. I paid the amount listed on my credit report (the only way I knew about the balance owed to PAS) because as much as like might like to say it, I never received any of so called five statements they sent, hence why I asked for a statement to be submitted via the Revdex.com.Again, when I processed the payment on their website there was no indication that the fee should be manually added into the amount, adding the the fact that the fee isn't even mentioned until after the payment is processed. If they want to ensure their customers pay the full balance, maybe an update to their website is in order.
