Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2015/12/26) */ Hi I was called out to look at a water leak on a ford thunderbirdWhen I arrived I added water and the water pump began to leak.the house I arrived is not the house where I performed the workI was called later that evening to fix the car I scheduled a apptto fix the carI showed up a few days later and started the vehicle it ran horrible I told her the car started up horrible she said that it was hard to start in the morning I asked her again are you sure you want to fix the water pump she said yes car runs fine just fix the leakso I R&R the water pumpstarted the car when I was done car ran the same as when I started it the first time but it idledi topped off the coolant after letting it reach operating tempchecked coolant level it was fullthe leak was fixedI was also told that day that she had drove the car to work without a radiator cap and she said she had put a sock in it to hold in the coolantthis was told to me after I had installed the pumponce she told me that I told her the car is old and probably needs a engineshe drove the car over ten miles thru traffic without a radiator cap that is detrimental to a engineI asked her how she lost the the Radiator cap her response was cause she had added water to the cooling system so she could make it to workshe also advised me that she had to add water everytime to the cooling system to drive it from place to placethe car has rust in the motor and I can not help she overheated a year old carI offered to go and take another look to see if there is anything that could be doneshe refused and said to leave it alone that she dont trust methe car has over 199,I was called to fix a leak I fixed iti have nothing else to say Initial Consumer Rebuttal / [redacted] (3000, 7, 2015/12/28) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) He knew from the start that I had driven it without a cap...I explained that before he started working on it and he just shook his head...and I never told him I had to put water in it to get from place to place...my grandkids can tell you this..as I take them to school every morning...(well not any more)..why would I pay him to put in a water pump if the car wasn't gonna run...I don't have extra money to give away..plain and simple it ran well until supposedly it was leaking water and needed a water pump...his only answer is that it was old.but give me my money...maybe he can mail me a receipt so I have that on file as a reminder not to call him again...also this too me was very in professional..before he started working on car he ask to use my bathroom..I wasn't comfortable with this and let him know..his response..."oh I won't sit on it"...I just wanted him to finish the job..also he called my daughter to let her know the car was finished and that it was goodWell it wasn't...I can see what kind of person this guy is and don't expect nothing from him because he already called to harass me and said he wasn't going to give me the money back..thank you B B B

This all started over a personnel matterNo I did not give her a reciept that was my fault yes I did replace brake pads and starter on
her nissan maximaShe supplied parts so there is no warranty on any of the workI have never harassed her or anyone in her family she has however harassed me she has repeatedly drove by my house on several occasions but never stopped I have surveillance to prove itAt one time I had to pulled up to my house as she drove by she never stoppedIf she wants a reciept that is fine I need a accurate odometer reading as well as a Vin and license plate number a current addressI will send a receipt to her residenceThe reason I never gave a reciept is because we were like family with one another didn't think nothing about itI have changed that now with everyoneI apologize for the inconvenience and she will get the reciept after I receive all the information I have requestedOnce again there is no warranty because she supplied her own parts and choose not to do business with herThank you

Not a personal matter this is a legit compliantFor starters that would be a embarrassment to even say we were like family I have not even known *** but less than a yearI was made a appointment and paid just like any other service place wouldthat's that I provided the parts I have evidence to clear thatThis isn't about driving by anyone's house cause I can drive where I please he may want to look up harassment as well a business ethics If he did everything according to business practice he would of provide a receipts and had the odometer readingSo he doesn't pay taxes on a self employed business job cause he decide what he reports, that's oddBecause I know a lady who went through him who she had not met till the day he looked at her car and she wasn't given any paper work also So this pretty much working under the tableI have worked with other mobile mechanic and they have given paper work so am not sure what kind of business *** mobile is running but that's pretty shady

I topped off the coolant after letting it reach operating temp. checked coolant level it was full. the leak was fixed. I was also told that day that she had drove the car to work without a radiator cap and she said she had put a sock in it to hold in the coolant. this was told to me after I had installed the pump. once she told me that I told her the car is old and probably needs a engine. she drove the car over ten miles thru traffic without a radiator cap that is detrimental to a engine.
