I am rejecting this response because: The response from the business is not entirely true. Dr [redacted]’s preliminary diagnosis was that [redacted] has sustained an injury to his abdomen and was bleeding internally. She aspirated his abdomen and found blood. She took xrays and told me that there was no evidence of tumors or bleeding from the spleen. She seemed to be convinced that he had been kicked by a horse. We decided to try and stabilize his condition and re-evaluate in a few hours. If he wasn’t improving we were going to make plans for his care. Dr. [redacted] never called me, nor did she come out and talk to me when I picked up [redacted]. Her staff told me to take him home and keep him quiet, try to feed him a little bit, and bring him back in the morning. They said If He Got Worse to take him to All Creatures Emergency Clinic in Stockton; which is NOT a 24 hour care facility. They are open 6pm to 8am and only open 24 hours on weekends and holidays. I did take him to All Creatures at 9pm that evening because he wouldn’t stop vomiting. They treated him for the vomiting and gave him pain medication. He felt better immediately. I had to go back and pick him up at 7am because All Creatures Closes at 8am! Blue Oak veterinary called the next morning to see if I was bringing [redacted] back. They called one other time a few days later to ask how [redacted] was doing and I told them he was dead and had cancer. I'm am still very upset at the loss of my friend, [redacted] . I wish he hadn’t suffered in pain while at Dr. [redacted]’s hospital.
