I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 11749652, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowVictoria should have contacted me directly even if I did not that is good business practice I own my own business so I know that for a fact you ALWAYS follow up with someoneMy mother got the dress from the store because she was the one paying for it so she was the one doing all the paper work for it and picking it upI live a good minutes from the store so I would not have had time to get this dress do to my schedule is why my mother received it for meI would like some sort of refund for this awful fitting of a dress and I was NOT months pregnant I was months pregnant which at that point I was done growing and she didn't even ask me what my street size or what my wedding dress from the same store was a year prior to this dateSo Yes I want a refund of some sort even if she could just give me the deposit back I would be willing to revise this review.

Dear [redacted],             This letter is in response to the complaint from [redacted] regarding the fit of her bridesmaid dress.   When she was measured for the gown, she was pregnant.  We were told that she was due in mid-June,...

making her seven months pregnant at time of order.  In our business, everything is made overseas and takes 3 to 4 months to arrive in our boutique.  Therefore, we could not wait to order the gown until after the baby was born.  We made our best educated “guess” on which size to order her.  Her measurements were: Bust: 45, Waist: 41 and Hips: 48.5.  These measurements fit her into a size 22W, which measurements are Bust: 49, Waist: 41.5, and Hips: 52.5.  After discussing with [redacted] the company’s size chart, along with the fact she still had a few months left to her pregnancy and such little time after the birth we would go with a size 24W.  The measurements for the 24W are Bust: 51, Waist: 44 and Hips 55.  It is much easier to take in a gown then let it out.             Once the gown arrived, she did not come in to try on the gown.  She never contacted us directly with her concerns about the fit.  Her mother picked up the gown and was concerned about the fit and how huge the gown was going to be even before [redacted] even tried on the gown.    I tried to explain the sizing with her, that our sizes are different than “street” size.  She asked for the plus size up charge to be returned to her.  I then, explained that unfortunately this designer’s up charge begins at a size 16W.  She left with the dress.              Throughout this process, we did not hear from [redacted] directly.  Customer service is extremely important to us and we would have helped her through the process.  We worked very closely with this wedding party and I did not hear of any problems.  In hind sight, I should have called her directly after speaking with her mother.  However, many times due to the fact that our sizes are so different than our everyday clothes, someone believes that the dress will be too big, but fits almost perfect after trying on the dress.  I had assumed that this had happened in this situation.             I do have copies of size charts, her measurements, and original customer receipt if you would like them.             Thank you for your time.                                                                             ...⇄ Sincerely,   Victoria H[redacted]                                         ...⇄ Store Manager
