I would think long and hard before I adopted from this rescue center. My mother, who has owned several shepherds in the past years as well as worked at a vet tech during my early childhood years was approved a dog for adoption. My mother and step father went to the meet Bella and instantly fell in love with this shepherd that was listed as being spayed and was even going to have her trained to be an aide assistance dog for my stepfather. My mother accepted the adopted dog and had her for a week after adoption when she took the shepherd in to be updated on her vaccinations using the vet the Rescue center uses and was informed that the shepherd was in the late term of pregnancy. Which was very shocking since she was advertised as being spayed and was undernourished for the term of pregnancy the dog was in. When [redacted] found out about the pregnancy she called and was extremely rude, Belligerent and not only discriminated against my mother about age but also about my step father's disabilities. She just wanted that dog & her puppies back so she could advertise the puppies and made additional sales.
For a week my mother & stepfather bonded with this dog, helped her birth her pups and made the dog feel safe and wanted. Well [redacted] showed up at 10:00pm Friday evening seizing the dog & all the puppies. My mother not only wants to petition to get Bella back but her puppies also. If you read this please share it with everyone you know until Bella & pups are returned to their rightful home!!
