James West Well Drilling is dishonest. My mother-in-law had a small crack within 6 inches of the top of her well pipe. James West came out promptly, then proceeded to pull the pump up out of the well, cut the 115 feet of PVC pipe into 6 sections, disconnect the pressure switch. He then informed my 80 year old mother-in-law that she needed a new pump, new pipe, a new pressure tank and pressure switch which would cost over $1200.00. At that time I arrived home, and would not let him proceed with this scam. He charged her $370.00 for the damage he had done before leaving.
I was able to repair the existing pipe, put the same pump back in the well, hook up the existing switch, using the same pressure pump and $57.00 later had my mother-in-law's water working. If you do call this company, be sure you know exactly what you expect them to do and don't allow them to replace anything that's working, because it "might go out in 6 months".
