The home at *** Guernsey Rd, Pace, FL XXXXX was completed on December 12, 2019 and at the time of closing, my wife and I accepted a couple of repairs that needed to be done in order for us to be able to close and move in. We documented the repairs and sent to the builder for his records. Over the last 2 months, it has been a difficult task to get the builder to come and have the repairs completed. One repair was a window in the bedroom that was damaged after installation, glue on the power stem to hold it down, missing bulb on an outside flood light, kitchen outlet that was not wired correctly, and a couple more. Over the 2 months since moving in, the builder has only been able to fix the outlet issue. He sent a window contractor to replace the broken window, but it turned out that the window was not the correct size and needed to be ordered. The builder and I had a conversation (Jan 31, 2020) and he stated that it would be 10 days since ordering the correct size and he would send them out to replace it. It has now been approximately 2 working weeks and the window still isn't replaced. I have attempted to contact the builder to get a status, but there was no answer and the mailbox was full so I could not leave a message. Some of the other repairs that were easy enough to fix, I ended up doing them myself because it was taking longer than expected. With that said, there are other repairs that require a professional to complete but contacting the builder has been unsuccessful. I have also solicited the assistance of my Real Estate agents to see if they would be more successful in contacting him, but the result is the same. Additionally, since the electricians rewired the outlet, my circuit breaker will now trip when the weather is bad or rainy. This may be due to the outside outlet inside the wall being exposed to the elements.
